1957 Chevrolet 3100 pick up truck from TX, Great Patina, Great Driver SEE VIDEO

1957 Chevy truck 2wd originally from Texas. Brought to the northeast several years ago. Body is super solid and you can see the tell-tale sunbaked patina in the bed. It’s got a beautiful aqua base patina with colored highlights. Looks great and gives the truck character that a shiny perfect truck doesn’t have. Interior is complete with moon eyes steering wheel and custom tiki head shifter. Comfortable seat that adjusts for small or larger driver with fitted seat cover. All necessary gauges. Carpet is a Tommy Bahama grass weave throw rug that was fitted into the truck for that tiki theme. Windows are nice and go up and down. Door hinges are rebuilt with new latches. The motor is a 1990s center bolt head LT1 350 V8. Rear mounted aluminum fuel tank mounted inside the bed with working gas gauge. Runs good and quiet. Dual exhaust. Aluminum radiator. Newer batter. Transmission is automatic with external trans cooler. The front clip is from a Camaro with power steering and power disk brakes. This makes the truck profoundly nicer to drive and stop then the original I-beam axle version. Good White wall tires with stock rims with poverty caps. The bed is wood stained with a working tailgate. Also has a sturdy rear bumper with trailer hitch. This is a very usable truck with All lights working and it has heat. Wipers are installed but not currently hooked up. This a great solid “Patina Rod” so while it’s solid and drives great, it’s not a perfect show car.
