This is an ideal restoration project for a Corvette or car enthusiast. Based on the numbers and pictures in the E Bay ad it has what appears to be the original engine block, Powerglide transmission, and 3:55 rear axle. Based on discussions with family members, it is a 4 owner car and the third owner had it from 1960 until 1977 when he sold it to the owner of the family we purchased it from. The 1960 Illinois title shows the names of the second and third owners. Major parts include soft top frame, 1954 driver seat frame, headlight buckets, and windshield frame. 1961 seat cushions and seat frames are also included. The speedometer, tachometer, and two gages appear original. The original AM radio is missing. The frame is solid and straight. It has some typical surface rust but it will look great after it is stripped and cleaned or sandblasted and repainted. We have posted many pictures that show all areas of this car and all of the parts included with the sale. Due to the fact that many parts are missing we encourage bidders to look at the details of all of the pictures and to contact us with any questions you may have. This is a very desirable 1954 Corvette Serial # E54S001816, that will be a great restoration project. 1954 Corvettes with the original drive train and engine block are very hard to find. The asking price on our website is only $22,990, but this is a NO RESERVE auction and it will sell to the highest bidder!!!!! Good Luck with the bidding and we look forward to talking to you.
