Car description

A true survivor! This 1964 Corvair is an un-restored orginal, 44k mile car. Believed to be the original interior. ORIGINAL PAINT! The paint, being original and a lacquer finish is showing some rock chips and minor imperfections, but is truly beautiful.
This car has a 95 HP 6 cylinder 2.7L engine, mated to a 2 speed powerglide on the dash.

This car is a fantastic looking, and driving vehicle. The 2 speed powerglide on the dash, and the AM radio take you back to 1964. This car drives better than a new car. 20 MPG, reliable, smooth ride, wonderful steering, beautiful paint and interior, and perfect glass. Everything on this car functions.
Great affordable classic car with a rising market.
This car was praised by the owner of Corvair Ranch for how intact it is.
Ready to get in and drive! This car gets a lot of attention wherever it goes. Drive and enjoy this summer in this Corvair! Selling in time for the coming Spring Carlisle event. I am located 1 hour south of Carlisle.

Fresh tune up including; New points, distributor cap, spark plugs and wires, & coil.
Other replacements; new fan belt, new Clark's Corvair dual trombone style exhaust, new heater hoses (corrugated piping that feeds heat to the cab), air inlet hose (corrugated piping that feeds fresh air to the engine), knife switch for safety, fresh valve cover gaskets, fresh oil & filter, fresh trans oil and filter.
This car's only downfall is a fuel leak that comes when over 3/4 of a tank. This is due to the fuel inlet hoses being dry-rotted from their age. I have replacement hoses, just not yet installed.
