Car description

1940 Chevrolet special Deluxe 2 door sedan. Cool older hot rod with a 6 inch chop on the roof, very good solid body, floors and frame. Paint looks better in pictures than it actually is. The clear coat on the roof is starting to come off. ( in picture) There is only one small rust spot on the body. It is pictured on next to the driver side headlight. The engine is a 216 stovebolt 6 cylinder that runs very well. You can hardly hear it at idle, 3 speed manual on column. Runs, drives and stops well. Starter was just rebuil, new gas tank, and it has Newer style 15 in wheels and radial tires . Hub caps in pictures are not included . I will try and put some replacement hubcaps on it . They just did fit right and one fell off when I took it for a ride. This is a Cool cheap hot rod.! Please call Jim at Yanoski's "West County speed" 570- 956-6342 if you need any more info or would like to come out and see this cool hot rod. Thanks and have a great day. now for the legal stuff. we highly recommend that you asked all the correct questions and possibly come look at it in person before you buy. This is almost an 80 year old car. 570-956-6342
