1966 Chevrolet Chevelle, Mist Blue with 81,431 Miles!

The 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle was the first year of the "coke-bottle" styling which immediately grew in popularity. This 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle 300 Deluxe is an older restoration which has been well maintained and presents very well. The car is finished in its original color of Mist Blue base coat clear coat paint with a coordinating blue interior. The 300 Deluxe was generally delivered as a base model with few options. It appears that this car was no exception originally an... automatic and currently a heat delete car it has however been modified over time and now is a performance vehicle with a 355 cubic inch motor mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with power front disc brakes. The exterior of this cars finish presents nicely apart from a few paint imperfections as shown in the photographs. The blue interior shows well and appears to be mainly original with a front bench seat and rubber floor mats. The headliner has one area of a pulled seam but remains in good condition. The body and underside are extremely solid with no apparent areas of rust or body rot. This car runs very well with great power and torque as well as that great muscle car feel with the aggressive choppy idle and tap of the solid lifters.
