Beautiful 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible completely redone as a frame-off project. The Chevy restoration started in 2003 and was completed in 2005. Receipts for ALL the work performed and new parts are included as well as pictures of the process. Only 4,000 miles have been logged on the Bel Air since its completion.

Here are some of the highlights; New 350 c.i./330 h.p. GM small block Chevy, backed by a new Turbo 350 automatic transmission. New power steering, power brakes (disc front, drum rear), Vintage A/C & heat, and Dakota dash. Every nut, bolt, fuel, and brake line were replaced.

After market continental kit fits and functions perfectly, NO FENDER SKIRTS, even though the brackets are there.

Please note I am selling this car for an estate and all the information was gathered through the receipts, photos, and relatives. Car has NOT been sitting for an extended period and runs well. As of the listing only the tachometer and fuel gauge do not work.

SPECIFICS

BODY & PAINT

Body removed from the frame and media blasted. Replacement of both quarter panels, the floors, and trunk lid with new parts. 2-Stage urethane white applied after extensive block sanding.

Frame was sand blasted and painted gloss black.

New top, hardware, and motor

Dual power antennas

All chrome was either replaced or replated

Stainless was repolished

All glass was replaced

Entire car was rewired.

Urethane bushings used on front end

Rebuilt and painted frame parts

Rebuilt '57 Chevy rear differential with 3.08:1 gears (open)

B.F. Goodrich radials mounted on Prostar wheels (225 x 70R x 14)
