1959 Chevrolet El Camino Red/ WhiteOriginal 6 cyc 235 Eng. 350 Transmission

This is a great survivor '59 El Camino. Having been well cared for all of these years. this car remains unaltered or modified. Its a base 1100 series with only the most modest of options. That short list includes a heater (apparently that was optional). oil filter and oil bath air cleaner. It remains stock in its frugal presentation including: 235ci 6 cylinder engine. Automatic Trans. manual steering and manual brakes. This car is equipped with a radio . And even though this was clearly intended to be a work truck. its use appears to have been quite gentile. The bed is in amazingly good condition. There are no signs of deep gouges. dents or rust. Although it was repainted many years ago. it kept its original colors. The paint nice gloss patina. The gauges are nice and clear and operate correctly. I HAVE A very rare fiberglass bED COVER THAT WAS A DEALER INSTALLED ITEM with mounting hardware. have only seen two in all my years 50 +++ of collecting. It needs to be restored .
