1955 Chevy Belair 2-door Sedan. Project.This is a pretty solid old car. Clear Title In My Name A lot better than some, but not perfect. It was mostly stripped down to bare metal, had a little body filler here and there as most old cars do. It was sanded and primed. If the buyer wants to have it painted, it will need some more block sanding and priming for imperfections. I was going to do satin black on it after I got it running. however, I am not going to be able to finish due to prioritiesthat have come up. It is at the stage where someone can do whatever they want. You don't need to be an expert to finish this car to driver quality condition if you can sand prime and fix little imperfections. As far as the mechanical stuff, the engine is not running. It would probably need to be rebuilt or replaced. It has a 350- engine and turbo350 transmission might be ok as far as I know. The drive shaft is also hooked up. The engine will need more attention. I wanted to put an old school 360 or 454 in it but each to his own. I installed the side stainless with new fastener clips that will be easily removed. I just wanted everything to be intact.I just wanted the buyer to see what they are getting. I have bought old cars before, they said everything was there, but most of the time either not there or no good. I have extra molding for the windshield, I have a new rubber seal for the rear glass. I have the backseat frame that will need to be recovered. Floors are good and have been repaired, Not restoration quality, but ok for a driver. I will install rear glass before shipping to avoid breakage. It will need a front seat and bumpers, I do not have them. They are pretty cheap on eBay. Please remember this is a project car.
