1964 CHEVROLET IMPALA 2DR HARDTOP SURVIVOR!!!


Up for grabs is this really clean 64 Impala 2dr hardtop survivor car. I am helping a good friend of mine sell his car. I purchased this Impala a few years ago from a gentlemenwho broughtit up from southernCalifornia. I drove it for a while and my good friend had to have it so I sold it to him. He has taken excellentcare of the car in the time he has owned it and done all the maintenanceto the car and has always stored it indoors and only driven on nice days. This car still retains it's factory original paint!! Not only that but the car is a rust free not hit car! It shows its age up close with paint being buffed through and minor touch ups here and there.All of the original trim and chrome is in excellentcondition as well. Over all the car shows really well for being original and for being nearly 55yrs old !!! The seats were recovered some time ago with cloth inserts and the carpet was replaced. Other then that the interior looks to be mostly original as well. Everything works in this car. The interior lights,dash lights,heater,wipers and the horn. He installed a nice cd player under the dash with usb,blue tooth and satelliteradio. The motor is a 283 small block that the previous owner stated was rebuilt and numbers matching. I have no proof. It runs great with no noises or smoke. The factory intake has been replaced with a Edelbrock performer and the factory carb was switched to a Edelbrock 625cfm 4bbl carb. The original distributorhas been upgraded with a Petronix electronic conversion. No more points!! The motor has had a recent tune up and fluid change. The transmission is a firm shifting powerglide. Has the original manual drum brakes and power steering. Has newer 2 /1/4inch dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Sounds great!! Sits on chrome wire wheels all the way around. Can easily be switched for personal preference. The car has never been altered with hydraulicsor air bags. Minus the wheels,intake,carb and stereo the car is very original and stock. Could easily be taken back to stock or customized to your personal taste!! The car runs and drives great! Cruises along like a Cadillacat 70mph down the freeway!! Everythingworks as it should. This is a no b.s honest survivorcar with nothing to hide! Don't find them like this anymore.If you have been in the market for a solid 64 Impala 2dr hardtop that won't brake the bank you might want to check this one out. My friend that I am helping sell the car for has a current loan on the car. The loan will need to be payed off before the title is released.
