Car description

No Reserve! Beautiful 1970 Monte Carlo. 383 small block. professionally built. less than 8k miles since last refresh. Built on a 1995 block. with one piece rear main. steel crank. 10. 88:1 compression HP pistons. bow-tie rods. raised runner aluminum heads. 2. 00/1. 55 valves. bow-tie intake. port matched and mirrored (the ports will match regardless of which side the heads are on). Runs mid 12's on pump 91 with no issues. and drives like a dream on the way home. Video of the car at the track available on request. Hood is all steel. with reinforcement under either side. made to look like it came that way from the factory. Bracket near opening keeps hood stable at high speeds. No squeaks or rattles. no wind noises from the windows. car was built to be driven often with no problems. Fluids have all been changed very regularly. including P/S fluid. brake fluid. rear diff. etc. Windshield has zero scars from wipers. back glass was replaced when paint was done. all weatherstripping was replaced also. This was NOT a frame off restoration. but everything on this car has been apart at one time or another. just not all at the same time. The frame is straight. as is the alignment. drives as straight as a new car with absolutely no tire wear what-so-ever. The interior is currently being outfitted with a new carpet. new dash refinish. new vent grilles. new dash pad. new kick panels with 6" speakers. new lighter assembly and element. as well as some other smaller items too. The suspension is all in fantastic condition. with no worn bushing. no movement in the ball joints. tie rod ends. center link or idler arm. This car is simply a fantastic driving. incredibly reliable. and great looking car. I've owned it for over 27 years. and I feel it's time to become a part of someone else's family now. Any additional upgrades I continue to make to the interior will be reflected in higher price in the future.
