Car description

This 1967 Chevrolet El Camino 396/325hp was purchased new by Lawrence Rigsby at Lew Williams Chevrolet in Eugene Or. on July 27th 1967 and was delivered on July 28th. The original purchase order that I have shows that he traded in a 1963 Corvette plus $1662.00 in cash to purchase it. For the $3462.05 he paid, he received the car with Marina Blue paint, 396/325hp engine, 400 Turbo transmission, 12 Bolt differential, Special front & rear suspension, Power steering, Power Brakes, Tinted windshield, Wheel covers, 7.75 x 14 whitewall tires, Low note horn & Push button radio. The car has a lot of documentation and comes with the original purchase order, 1967 owner protection plan book w/ Protect-o-plate, owners manual and plastic envelope.

It still has all of the Big Block identifiers such as the 2 piece steering shaft, braces from the lower rear trailing arms to the uppers, 15/16" front sway bar, air shocks with the shields and has the air shock shrader valve located in the rear window shelf. The CZ code 2.73 12 bolt rear end is dated 0602B and is verified as original on the protect-o-plate, it has a 1968 400 Turbo & the EV code and 396/325 was replaced with a 454. It as an original GM Super Sport hood, 15 x 6 Z28 style Rally wheels, dual exhaust and I installed a factory Corvette 427/390 cast iron Holley intake and holley carburetor.

This car has lived in the Willamette Valley between Eugene & Portland, Oregon all of its life !! The floors are excellent with ZERO cancer, the bed floor is extremely nice, there are some minor rust issues in the typical GM locations. I have a very nice original Marina blue 396 LH fender that goes with the car. I purchased the car almost 3 years ago, fully intending to restore it. With all the other projects that I have, that is probably not going to happen any time soon.

The car needs a lot, but runs and drives good. It shows 8086 miles on the odometer and has rolled over at least one, mileage may increase as I still drive it. This is a highly documented car that will have value when finished. I can help with getting car on a transport truck, buyer responsible for all shipping costs.
