Car description

1982 Corvette with a lot too list. I bought this car in July of 2007. Been a rolling restoration ever since. Selling because the car just sits. Bought the car with 70. 89 miles and it has 70. 41 miles. I have replaced the motor with a 385CI stroker all internals aftermarket. block was from my 1974 Corvette. Motor is 40 over 10. 5. 1 hyperutectic pistons. 6" rods. Dart iron heads 2. 02 intake 1. 60 exhaust ported and polished. crane 1. 5 roller rockers. Edelbrock Victor jr. intake. Victor series water pump. RPM fuel pump. nice cam but not to much. matched perfect. Professionally built! Super T-10 4 speed with new Rams clutch and flywheel. Rear end completely rebuilt with Precision gears 3. 54. Professionally rebuilt trailing arms. New rear bushings. u-joints. complete brake overhaul with Delco calipers with O-Ring seals. Car stops on a dime! New BF Goodrich tires 265-60-15. New stinger fiberglass hood with 67 insert. MSD 6AL ignition. Accel 8. 8 wires. skip white HEI distributor. Hooker super comp. 1 3/4" ceramic coated headers. with 2. 5" S/S dual exhaust plus x pipe. So I don't get asked 100 times. Yes. 1982 Corvettes did not come with a 4 speed manual nor was there an option for it in 82. I converted it as if I were GM themselves. Original all the way but for the clutch and flywheel. Can't tell it was converted. everything the factory did I did. Neutral safety switch. no wire cut spliced hacked on. etc. Kept everything. Original hood. motor. transmission. exhaust. spare tire. cross member. shifter. even the metal piece in the tunnel that had to be cut out. Also. The original motor is complete CFI which actually ran great! No issues. It was severely underpowered though. 700r4 ran great also. If one wanted to convert the car back to original they could pretty easy. Also. new radiator. shocks. polyurethane mounts. mini hi-torque starter. etc. Coil springs not installed. March pulleys not installed. and Borla S/S mufflers not installed. new e-bake cables not installed. E-brake does not work. never did and seems to be a trend with these cars. 165 speedo converted from original one. Mileage was left alone. Car needs very little to be completed. I was going for a weekend cruiser. Been garaged since 2007 when I bought it and the previous owner did the same when he had it. So probably the last 15 years it been in a garage. One last thing the paint is Bright blue metallic and not original to the car. I believe the original color was silver. I also have the tank sticker. I have about 24k in receipts. I reserve the right to end auction early. Any questions feel free to ask. Thanks. Kyle
