1947 CHEVY 5 WINDOW 1/2 ton PICK UP TRUCK SHELL (no papers) (no reserves)

Up for auction is a 1947 Chevy project pick up truck shell, no reserves, highest bidder takes it home. . Most all of the body parts are there except for maybe the running boards which might be in the bed.. It has a 1964 Chevy impala front chassis and suspension on it with the motor mounts on it that can accomodate a 350 Chevy motor. The chassis is bolted on but needs to be welded. It has two 15" rally rims in the front with 2 BF Goodrich P215-65R15 tires on them. The pick up floor is good as you can see from the pics. All of these truck start to rust at the corners of the cab and the bottom of the doors. The front windshields are cracked & sitting in the back in the bed but they do sell the replacement glass here on ebay. The rear glass is there but cracked & the drivers side 1/4 glass is missing but all can be bought here on ebay or from the Chevy aftermarket books. The aftermarket books sell most all the replacement parts for the 47-57 chevy pick up trucks, plus a lot of the parts are also sold here on ebay.I have the doors, radiator support, Grill, inner fender wells, wall supports, driveshaft, and hood. It has the 64 impala steering colunm on it but someone stole the steering wheel & lower steering column shaft bar. The shaft bar is common to all older model Chevys. I did not see the running boards but they might be in the bed underneath all of the other parts. I have to go thru & look around the bed and yard. It is a nice pick up & i had big plans for it but now I am moving to a smaller yard & do not have room for all of my projects so a lot will have to go. Ok. It stopped raining for a little while & i went over & looked into the truck bed a bit before it started raining again. So, to answer some of your questions. There are no papers for the truck but yes, there is a vin plate on the drivers side front door post. In the aftermarket books they also sell replacement vin plates to replace the faded out ones. I have both, The original and the replacement. There is no rust or rot on the roof of the truck. There is a small dent on the drivers side above the door which could be rubber hammered out from the inside of the truck.In the bed of the truck are both fenders, both inner fender wells, radiator support, radiator, extra gauges, hood hinges, both running boards, door handles, arm rests, battery tray, 3 chevy drive shafts, gril, 2 chevy 350 engine exhaust pipes, nuts and bolts, lower radiator support, transmission cross member, body bushings, 3 fan blades, bumper brackets, windshield center trim and rubber that goes between front windshields, bumper spacer and a brand new still in the package front windshield rubber moulding along with some other parts. It had started to rain again, so i stopped.The fender, inner fender wells & running boards are all there but do need a little body work. Truck & parts are in pretty good condition to be over 70 years old. I also have the hood and the drivers side door with the glass. Some more pics were added.
