1972 Chevy Suburban 3/4 Ton 4WD 3 Door

1972 3/4 Ton 4 x 4 Chevy Suburban 3 Door .Only 859 3/4 ton 4WD Suburbans made that year .What a fun vehicle ! I bought this suburban about 20 years ago from the second owner and have enjoyed it thoroughly . I have done lots of maintenance and updating through the years.
Options : Factory installed "Detroit No -Slip " Differential, Dealer installed 50 gallon Gas Tan, Tilt Steering Colum, Leather Wrapped Steering Whee, Power Steerin, Power Brake, AM/FM Cassett, Vintage Air front A/C system w/ Factory Rear A/, Custom made roof rack with tent pole extensions and hylift jack mounts (lights not connected yet ), New front carpet about 6 months ag, Receiver Hitch w/ electronic trailer brakes .400 ci Small Block w/17,000 mi.,Factory Serpentine Belt set-up with adapters for Sanden A/C compressor,700R4 Overdrive Transmissio, New Process 205 Transfer Cas, Dana 44 Front Axle 4:1, Corporate Rear Axle 4:1, BF Goodrich 285-75-R16 All-Terrain T/A KO's with 1000 mi., Interior redone about 15 years ago, Inner and Outer Rocker Panels replaced about 12 years ago, Rust free Bondo free Tailgate installed 8 years ago .
The Bad : The grill bowtie has some cracks in it, Some rust bubbles on liftgat, Right Rear door won't lock - something loose inside of i, Leaf Spring bushings worn - new Polyurethane Bushings include, Rear A/C Blower not workin, Right rear corner above taillight has some old bodywork from 25 years ago showing cracks, Right Rear door has some 25 year old bodywork that shows.
Boxful of extra parts included : 2 sun visors, glovebox door, rear seat armrest, taillight lens, polyurethane spring bushing, some new door weather strips, door sill plates .
It's not perfect but it's a very nice original style 4WD Suburban that's been taken care of. Truck runs and drives great and gets a lot of attention anywhere you go, and you can go just about anywhere you want to .
