Car description

This 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS tribute has been rebuilt to be the most wicked street machine around. After all, the full blackout treatment, huge rear wheels, and tall cowl hood make a true evil midnight package. And so it's intimidating before you even hear the enhanced big block roar. This Chevelle looks wicked, but those who dare get closer will discover a quality coupe. The black paint was applied with a professional hand. So it looks good no... matter if it's reflecting the midday sun or the midnight neon. Rivaling this paint's shine is brightwork in all the right places, like the freshly-dipped bumpers, complete rockers/wheel well trim, and an upgraded set of Billet Specialties 15-inch alloys. And while this is a correct SS tribute with the proper badging and blacked-out elements, no one was going to question this coupe's performance credentials, anyway. It has that perfect aggressive forward-leaning stance, and the lightweight fiberglass hood has that massive cowl. So this outlaw always looks like it's just barely enough on the right side of the law to get a license plate hung on the back. Inside the classic full black interior looks great on this intimidating hardtop. The bucket seats, door panels, headliner, carpeting, and dash all look like they received a nice investment to be correct and crisp. Even the factory dual-spoke steering wheel is in place. But while this has a nice classic presentation, it's the upgrades that you'll really like. After all, components like the racing harness, fire extinguisher, and auxiliary gauge trio all look race-ready. Plus, that Hurst Quarter Stick shifter and huge AutoMeter tach w/shift light are clear indications you're going to love what's under the hood. Just like the rest of the car, the engine bay is clean, dark, and mean. This is a fresh 454 crate V8, and there was a ton invested to enhance and fortify this big block. It includes a Holley double pumper four-barrel carburetor, Weiand hi-rise aluminum intake, aluminum heads, braided steel lines, serpentine belts on polished pulleys, and an aluminum radiator with large electric pusher fan to keep it all running cool. It fires to life as the long tube headers add even more power while also contributing to the thunder of the H-pipe dual exhaust. You want the best components supporting this monster motor. That's why a strong TH400 three-speed automatic transmission feeds a stout 12-bolt rear end. And those massive 295/65R15 Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S rear tires put plenty of rubber on the pavement. You also have front disc brakes, power steering, and sway bars front & rear. Complete with build receipts, this is the bad boy finished to one of the nicest standards around. So if you're looking for something that's exceptionally powerful and presented, don't let this wicked one slip away. Call today!!!
