Here is another fine IROC-Z from our collection. it is one of the finest examples in the country !
Its 31 years old and everytime i pass by the open window of the car it takes me back in time to the Chevy dealer showroom in 1987 with that indistinguishable new car smell.
All the interior/exterior materials shine bright and sharp, like it just went through pdi and the plastic covers removed for the very first time. everything on the car is fully functional and completely original.The car has been well preserved, passion and great care has been taken to keep it in the condition its in today. it gets warmed up to temperature and driven a couple miles at highway speeds a few times per month (weather permitting) and not in the rain. it gets a few gallons of 94 octane often to keep the fuel system fresh. Care has always been taken to make sure the car has been stored in a safe, warm and dry environment with minimal humidity.
The car has 006,250 original miles, it was built in Norwood Ohio and remained in Ohio/Indiana most of its life before being acquired by a collector in the ln the mid 2000's. its all original down to the Goodyear Gatorbacks that are in excellent show quality condition with no cracking or flaking. I can talk all day about the condition but to keep thing simple it a very fine piece of third gen history and I hope the new owner is able to preserve it as well as we all have and be able to share these same stories 30 years from now !!!

A red Z28 1LE car did stand out from the crown but how is it an enjoyable drive with a hardtop and zero air conditioning ? 85-100 degrees on the way to the car show ..... no thanks.
