1972 Custom Classic Corvette Summer Movie Replica Tribute Car

Mark Hamill, yes, Luke Skywalker Jedi from Starwars drove the original film car in the 1978 movie Corvette Summer with his co-star Annie Potts. This replica was used in the Gas Monkey garage episodes and has been in other videos . When we purchased the car we completely re-did it and repainted it to it's correct custom read metal flake paint job exactly how it was done back in the 70's!! No expense spared. We did the rear bow-tie rear end and flares. The exhaust exits correctly and exact as the film, it was 8k to recreate. Photos and videos of this car have been shared around the world.The correct wheels and tires were sourced out along with the the correct transparent T tops.It has a 350 engine with a mild cam and automatic transmission with very little use as it is primarily in our show room and transported to charity events. The car has new tires, brakes, Gabriel shocks front as well as rear air shocks. It has the Mickey Thompson valve covers that are hand painted them to match the movie and correct air cleaner intake. The fog lights are impossible to find and are screen accurate as well as the rear fuel racing filler door. The Nevada plate was recreated to match it when the bad guys painted it gold.We know the real one was right hand drive, howeverwe opted not to do this due to risk of injury at one of our charity parades. This car is titled and registered in California and has no issues. It can be viewed at Don's Lock and Key in Riverside California. Our Batmobile is on its way and we need the room in the show room.
