Up for sale for the first time is this clean, very well maintained 1972 Corvette Coupe. It has only had three owners in 46 years with current ownership for the last 18 years. This car has been continuously improved upon through the years for reliability, power, aesthetics, and comfort of drive. No expenses spared.
Powertrain completely replaced as described below, but numbers matching (born with) 350 cid and original transmission is part of the purchase at the BIN price. Also available separately.
1972 was the last year of the front/rear chrome bumpers, and removable rear window. Of the 79,430 miles, current owner has driven it 13k miles since 2000.
New reliable powertrain is a 400+ horsepower, very low miles, 383 cid stroker engine and 3.70 rear-end, all built by local Cincinnati Corvette shop. It has less than 1,000 miles on it.All body panels are original with very minor repair to left rear panel. Frame was completely rust-proofed and integrity is solid. Repaint was done in 2006 and is finished in Miglia Red with brown interior. Seams were done before the repaint. No defects or cracks. Receipts provided with the sale date back over 13 years and all documented. Original Owners Manual. Always garaged and well taken care of. Clean Ohio title. No lienholders.
All gauges, lights, and electricals are functional except the clock. T-tops included of course and in very good condition.
