Car description

Take a little extra time to really notice this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS. It's a real-deal Rally Sport that has a powerful V8 heart, four on the floor, and a real period-correct vibe all around. So when a restored classic like this becomes available, you know it will disappear quickly. Butternut Yellow is a great subtle Camaro color. The factory-correct hue really gives some nice distinction to the darker elements on this classic, like those unmistakable RS-package concealed the headlights... and the D91 Super Sport stripe. In fact, as you look at the cowl tag, the code 4P means this could possibly have been a true SS350 or having a L30/M20 package. SS elements like the finned hood and D80 full-width rear spoiler add to the overall, great look. But more than just earning its sporty appearance, you want this one because there is a crispness and a superior fit to the body panels that let you know this coupe was carefully restored. Plus, thin chrome wraparound bumpers, Rally wheels, and plenty of trim give this extra brightness from every angle. We love it when the exterior accent color is also a preview of the interior color. Plus, you can never go wrong with a Camaro in deep black. Someone spent real money making sure this factory-correct color stayed its darkest. A center console, fresh carpets, crisp bucket seats, and matching door panels - this one is out to impress. And it has all the best driver's features of the time. The thin three-spoke RS steering wheel feels grippy in tour hands. Beyond that you have the large speedo and tach deeply recessed into the dash. Plus, there's auxiliary readout at the base of the center console, and just ahead of that is the iconic Hurst cue ball shifter. It all looks restored to be quite period-correct, but if you look closely, you can spot one nice upgrade. The radio looks like a factory AM unit, but it's really a retro-style modern AM/FM stereo with digital tuner and iPod hookup. The air topper, Chevrolet valve covers, and polished intake all radiate power from within the dark engine bay. This 350 cubic-inch V8 earns this appearance, because it's packed with go-fast goodies like an Edelbrock-four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, aluminum heads, long tube headers, and it even likely has a mild cam. So you get plenty of power for the streets and a terrific growl from the Magnaflow dual exhaust. You get complete control of it all thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. Add in power steering, an upgrade to front disc brakes, and the grip of BF Goodrich T/As, and you've got a great all-around muscle machine. Complete with restoration photo book, this is the real-deal RS that gets it right. So if you're looking for an icon with poise and pedigree, this is your V8 dream. Call now!
