Car description

Up for sale is my 1947 Chevy 3100. The body is mounted on a 1991 Chevy S10 frame and retains the 4.3 V6 and 700R4 Automatic with Overdrive transmission.
-ENGINE/TRANS-
The engine is a 1993 Vortec 4.3 which retains its factory TBI and computer. Every sensor, the ignition, distributor, plugs, wires, etc are brand new. The wiring harness for the engine is brand new with all new connectors and is a stand-alone unit. It utilizes the factory ECU and fuel system. The fuel pump and filter are brand new.The rear end is a 3:42 posi with disc brakes. All disc brake components to include the master cylinder and booster are brand new. The steering column has been upgraded for strength and retains factory power steering. The transmission has been gone through by a mechanic and freshened up and new seals. Brand new one piece driveline with all new U-joints. The wheels are off a 2010 Camaro and utilize aluminumhub centric spacers to adapt to the metric bolt pattern and lug nuts. The engine does make a little puff of blue smoke on cold start up after setting for a few days, upon having it checked out it could possibly use valve seals, but does not burn any oil between changes.
-SUSPENSION-All of the suspension with the exception of the rear leaf springs are brand new. All new A-Arms, springs, shocks, bearings, etc. Frame was cleaned up and painted while the body swap was performed. The cab mounts are factory S10 with S10 bushings. The bed is framed with box steel and I used tongue and groove wood to complete the bed. Inner wheel wells were used toaccommodate the wide wheels and tires.
-INTERIOR/WIRING-The truck also has a brand new wiring harness with brand new wiring throughout. All lights, signals, etc work and weather tight connections. I have not loomed the wiring under the hood yet. The factory gauges do not work, and have not been restored (they are 6v). The factory seat is in good shape and all new weather stripping on the doors as well as new window tracks. All glass is in great shape. The windshield and rear window rubbers are dry and are not water tight. A tunnel cover was made to cover the transmission andextended hot rod shifter with indicator mounted. The door panels andceiling panels are new as well as the rear and side view mirrors. There is no heater in the cab, but the wiring harness has provisions for it. I left all wires long and tied up out of the way so there will not ever have to be any lengthening of wires if anything is ever worked on.
-BODY-The cab is in awesome shape and has very minimal surface rust. The cab corners and kick panels are all solid. The donor truck was parked under cover on a farm its entire life. The doors and hood are in awesome shape as well as the fenders and bed. There are various holes from mounting of implements over the year but is solid. The truck has a few squeaks and rattles I have yet to track down but cruises smooth and purrs like akitten. I have cleaned up all the oxidation off the paint to get the colors and patina to come through, there is no clear coat or anything on the paint. Finish up the body work and put a nice paint job, or keep the super cool patina. The interior floor/firewall are also not finished or covered in anythingand are ready for a rubber mat, or carpet.

Overall this is one awesome truck. Ican't gotwo blocks without getting a thumbs up or someone trying to take a photo. The truck rides like a brand new S10 pickup and has the cool vintage iconic look of the 47 chevy. The engine runs smooth and transmission shifts nicely. It puts along and gets great gas mileage! I am not a professional shop, but did the work myself and can answer any and all questions about the process. This truck is not a show truck by any means, it is meant to be driven. You will be smiling from ear to ear while driving this thing. Please feel free to message me and ask questions or send me your contact information. I have a ton more photos I can share. The truck has a clear WA title.
