Car description

The Chevys of the mid-'50s have been revered for their cool factor and lauded by car enthusiasts for decades, but this 1956 Chevrolet 210 restomod takes things to a whole new level. It's only logged 750 miles since a spectacular build left it a showstopper both inside and out. From its exquisite exterior to its inspired, opulent interior, to its array of first class mechanical components, every detail has been covered, making this stunner the epitome of a turn key classic.
You'd be hard pressed to find an exterior on any car, regardless of vintage, that's on a par with the Matador red and white example on this classic. It's got a museum-quality clarity to it that gives the impression this iconic Chevy was ushered straight from its restoration into a proportionally-scaled Ziploc bag to protect it from any harm. The eye-catching paint is super crisp and very evenly applied over an impressively straight body that exhibits precise alignment everywhere you look, with nice even gaps between all its flush-fitting body panels, and a hood, doors and deck lid that likely open and close more securely than they did some 60-plus years ago when they first assumed their places. Take a lap around the entire car and check out the extensive collection of chrome it features, from its conversation-piece worthy front grille to the bumper in the back, and you'll find that there's not even a hint of exposure to the elements. The glass on all four sides is also very clean and new-looking, and it appears every rubber seal and stretch of weatherstripping has been replaced.
Climb inside and you'll be surrounded by a spectacular interior, with outstanding craftsmanship and seamlessly applied custom touches that blend in perfectly with their surroundings everywhere you look. The front buckets and rear bench seat are unusually impressive - not just as far as aesthetics, but in terms of comfort, as well. Just in front of the billet steering wheel lies a dash area that strikes a great balance between original and modified. It retains that signature configuration this generation of Chevys became known for, but there's now a set of Classic Instrument gauges residing in the fan-shaped instrument cluster, and a series of custom vents have been recessed into the lower dash to distribute the climate controlled work of the Vintage Air system throughout the cabin. The spacious trunk area is in just the great shape you'd expect based on the rest of the car - its floor lined with matching red carpeting that stops just short enough from the front to expose the hydraulics that control the suspension - yet another stellar feature in a car that's chock-full of them.
This 210 may have the appearance of an automotive work of art, but it's got streetability and power to match. A 383 cubic inch V8 sits under the hood in a double-take inducing engine bay, ready to supply all the performance you'd want and sounding awesome in the process, as it breathes into its Flowmaster exhaust. While hydraulic suspensions like the Ridetech Shockwave system this Chevy carries aren't unheard of in top-tier classics, it's not often they're as easily operated - the control panel sits within easy reach in the center console. Even outstanding stopping power has been built in, with Wilwood power disc brakes sitting at all four corners. This restomod among restomods sits on a set of Schott Chrome rims - 18" in front and 20" in back for a great aggressive incline - outfitted with low-profile BF Goodrich tires.
If you're looking to have the last word in exceptionally built '50s automotive icons, you need look no further than this 1956 Chevrolet 210 restomod. Call today!
