Fast440 is pleased to offer this 1955 Chevrolet 210, Two-Door Street Rod Sedan. Reminiscent of the 1960's Street Rod scene, this Tri-Five most certainly has that look. High quality BrandyWine Base Clear-Coat Paint work on straight Body Panels. All Factory Original Metal from when the car left the Assembly Line in St. Louis Missouri. A couple of minor flaws due to use and age as shown in the pictures on this approximately 10 year-old build. All Glass Panels were replaced when restored as well as soft products such as Door and Window seals. Chrome and Stainless Steel Trim items are either well preserved original, restored/replaced as needed. The Color is tasteful, Bright looking Exterior appearance, and an aggressive looking stance. Absolutely beautiful, and very hard to pick apart at this price. Some of these time wasters are asking twice as much on EBAY for far less Tri-Five. Like they think buyers are stupid. PRICED TO SELL, BID EARLY AND OFTEN, WE MAY ADD A "BUY IT NOW" PRICE AT ANY TIME.
No stone left unturned with regards to the fully restored Interior as well. Seat Upholstery along with Seat Foam Replacement is very nicely done and very comfortable for your next long distance cruise. Door Panels, Headliner and Carpet have all been replaced as well. Painted surfaces such as the Dashboard look professionally done, and most Interior bright work has been replaced. Custom Chrome side Glass frames have been added and look very cool. The Impala Steering Wheel is a nice looking '60's Hot Rod Touch, and the fully functioning Dakota Digital Gauge Cluster and Clock will keep the driver informed. All Electricals, function as they should, and The Vintage Air, Air-Conditioning produces cold A/C and Hot Heat/Defrost. The car has been rewired front to back to ensure safety and reliability of electrical components.
Mechanically, this '55 is strong and needs nothing to go anywhere right now, and clearly the car has been set up just for that purpose. Strong Running and mild performance Built 350 V-8, and Muncie M-20 4-Speed Manual that shifts with authority and all Synchros are good. the Clutch engages with force as well. The Rear Differential is GM stock with low RPM's at highway speeds. The Front Suspension has been rebuilt, Steering Box is tight, Brake System has been gone through, and the Vehicle tracks down the road flawlessly. Truly a wonderful driving experience, and the nostalgic sound from those Cherry Bomb Mufflers will make an old man wish for younger days.
Inspection of the Undercarriage will reveal Factory Original Floor Pans, Body Brackets etc. Confirmation that this Chevy was a very well preserved Texas Solid original prior to restoration. Trunk Pan, Trunk Rails, Spare Tire Well all solid !
Perhaps some Engine Bay and Undercarriage detailing if that is important to the next owner, those are the only areas one could criticize. You may choose to leave it alone, pop the key off and go. That's what is all about fellas, right ?. Thoselooking for a good solid cruiser with great looks and needing nothing to drive and enjoy, why not bid, and bid with confidence.
