Car description

1965 Corvette L76 327 365hp 4 speed (with Factory A/C) 49k actual miles
same owner since 1965
Original, Un restored, (The kind of story you hear about & Is usually not true)
It has been sitting In A Garage In North Texas since the last registration date on the lic plate in the photo (1976) In garage for 41 years,
OPTIONS L76 eng code (HK) 365hp, 4speed, 3.08 special hwy gear option, limited slip
Air conditioning, Radio delete, 4 wheel disc
365hp with A/C & radio delete is A very unusual & rare option combo
(Radio deletes did not have shielding around distributor) Its not missing it never had it!
In 1976 The owner got into minor accident on the Left rear quarter panel (see pic ) & parked it, ( Wanting to fix it before he drove it again) He never got around to getting it fixed so its been sitting ever since 1976
Sold new at Mohr Chevrolet In Dallas TX & has been In North TX ever since,
PAPERWORK has Original 1965 title, Owners manual, Owner protection plan booklet with Protecto plate attached, registration rec, lien release from 1969
All photos are recent & car has Not been washed off or cleaned, Eng is Not locked But have Not tried to start it!
under hood still looks like pics show, mice debris under hood But ( No wires or hoses were not chewed!
BODY. the red primer is showing thru the Original paint in some spots see pics
The only damamge to the body is what you see in the pics Left rear quarter lower
fiberglass only, The owner said A spot on the rear was fixed by the dealer when it was new, see pics, Bumpers & chrome are all orig, All glass orig, rocker mldgs are nice,
HUBCAPS are near perfect
FRAME/UNDERCARRIAGE Is perfect, surface rust only its smooth to the touch no scaling, you could lightly scotch bright frame & surface rust would come right off
under carriage has Never been bottomed, even the front lower valance/bumper
is perfect, EXHAUST is still in good shape no pin holes Its original & could be used
Gas Tank is Not rusted, inside tank needs minor cleaning, orig spare has never been out.
ENGINE/TRANS we put it in 4th gear & slightly rocked it making sure eng is Not locked, (We did (Not) try to turn eng over with starter) cylinders would need to be lubed first, Engine Its Untouched since it was parked in 76 air cleaner has always been on engine, Inside carb/intake, air cleaner is clean throttle plates are not stuck, carb looks very good is orig has never been kitted.
ORIGINAL, ITS EASIER to say whats not original on the car, The tires are not orig, the battery is not, the air filter is not, The owner installed glass packs in 1968 they are made for the car bolted on not welded, wiper blades are not, MISSING parts (2) rad cap &1 chrome trim that surrounds exhaust coming out of lower valance, Everything else is original, plugs& wires, you can still see GM logo on fan belts, shocks, #4150 Holley, Every nut, bol, scre, clamp, shield Is Original orig keys with punch out codes, all interior, all glass is good
Is still holding some Freon in system
THE LAST ONE maybe not but you will probably not see another untouched/original midyear that's been sitting in garage 40 years come up for auction, There cant be many if any left out there.
this car will go up in value more than A restored one, you can restore it anytime, There only original once, if it was offered again in 5-10-15 years (In this condition) It would probably be The last one in Original untouched condition, That makes it rarer than A restored car
ATTN bidders Its no reserve ONLY BID IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY& FULLY INTEND ON PAYING FOR THE CAR IF YOU WIN. Please don't waste A 7 day auction for everyone else. No trades, Sorry No buy it now, auction will run its course, Inspections are welcome & lift is available for proper insp
