1971 Chevrolet short bed 4x4
Nice truck! It has a lot of upgrades. Runs great! I've put about 3900 miles on it since I did most of the work.
454 HO Engine
TH400 transmission
NP205 transfer case ( 2HI,4HI,4LO)
GM 8.5" 10 bolt 8 lug front Axle (out of a 1976 1 Ton) (locked and freewheel B&M Hubs)
GM 14 Bolt 8 lug Rear axle (Out of a 1976 1 Ton)
4 Wheel disc brakes.
Seat from a 2000 Silverado (So it has shoulder harness seat belts and a comfy bench seat)
New Windshield
New sliding back Glass

Most trim pieces and bumpers we're new.
New gas Tank (Moved gas tank from Cab to under the bed)
New gauge cluster with tach. (new speedo with Odometer. So all the Miles on the Odometer I put on it since I finished most of the work)

New Tilt steering Column
BFG All-Terrain T/A KO Tires probably 90% tread 235/ 85 R16. They have about 3800 miles on them

It seems I've got a lot of questions today about the length of the bed. It measures 85" long inside the bed. That is shorter than a regular bed. I bought the truck as a short bed 10 years ago in Colorado. I didn't modify the bed. I can't say it wasn't modified from a long bed before I bought it. The truck is highly modified in a lot of other ways. So you're not purchasing an original restored truck. You're purchasing a modified customized truck.
