Car description

1987 Chevy SuburbanWould make a great driver, awesome 1st truck, or good for any number of things.Low mileageReally nice paintHas some rustLooks really cool, nice features, interior condition is impressive. Belonged to a retiree who unfortunately liked surf fishing. Parts value alone in this vehicle is easily in excess of $4000, not that that's what I'm trying to get out of it.
Truck has pretty significant rot in rear tailgate hinge area at hinge connection cross member where it attaches to the body on both sides.Interior surfaces surrounding tailgate including tailgate threshold remain in good condition however. The rot in the underlying areas has however disconnected the tailgate hinges from the body. There is other rust but this is by far the worst area. There is rust around wheel well areas in the usual places and along bottom edge of both rear doors. Rocker panels on both sides remain in good condition. There is some rust on interior surfaces of door thresholds, but not rot. Floorboards in general throughout truck all remain in good condition somehow. See link below for highly detailed photos of areas explained.
I was going to fix this truck up and started making some repairs but have lost interest and run out of time.Power steering pump is not installed as it was bad and I took it off to replace it.Air conditioning line set is disconnected at compressor. This was done by previous owner.Needs a rear brake line replaced. And most recently driver side front window motor stopped working on me. I've removed door panel to inspect.Truck has brand new (and I mean BRAND NEW) Cooper Discoverer STT 32x11.50 tires.Awesome Baja bar with KC daylighters. In spite of rust, paint is shockingly nice. Chrome and trim all in excellent condition. Aside from needing some coffee spills shampooed out of the carpet, interioris amazing. In spite of the aforementioned deficiencies, this is an absolutely awesome truck and looks the part. Can be bought cheap and driven daily with minimal work. Once you're done with it, sell the parts and get your money back, or repair rust and completely restore. With 93,000 miles on it, you can't go wrong.READ THE DESCRIPTION FULLY THIS IS NOT A NEW TRUCK.If it's not in the photos or is not on the truck I don't have it what you see is what you get.
