1951 Chevrolet short bed,455 Olds engine,4-speed,410 posi,Ladder bar suspension.

Due to our financial situation we are forced to sell our truck that has been in the family for over forty years. Within the last two years we have spent thousands of dollars and more hours than I can recollect. We had the 10 bolt rear end rebuilt with new 4:10 gears new position unit.All new wheel cylinders,Brakes and hardware. We had a ladder bar suspension installed with coil over shocks. Custom installed Aluminum fuel tank with fender mounted fuel fill cap. Custom install in rear fender with a flip up cap cover.We had all new slats and metal bands installed in the bed.The engine is a 455 Olds. We spent 1500.00 to freshen up the short block alone.All new gaskets timing chain,Cam lifters timing chain,Etc,Aluminum intake with a Edelbrock carb. Aluminum radiator with electric fan,Ignition system was converted to an electronic system.New clutch disc pressure plate throw out bearing.Turned flywheel.We had power seats installed nice stereo system,Etc,We had a custom visor installed. Much of the sheet metal has been replaced.We had a custom exhaust system made.New tailgate,New gate chains,Etc,The only part of the underneath that hasn't been addressed is the front end steering and suspension.Is the truck perfect.No it is not.But is it a nice piece to build from this point. You betcha.I know I am missing many many things,I will ad many more pictures as soon as I can figure out how to get them downloaded.This truck will be sold as is with no implied warranties. Please ask all questions.We will try to answer them as best and as honestly as we can.We do not have issue with a third party coming over to check the truck out for the potential buyers.I am sure a truck like this can not be as far along as ours for less than our reserve price. Balance to be paid in full before delivery of the truck can happen.We are absolutely heartbroken to be forced to sell this family member. But hopefully someone else can finish it and love it as we have.
