Car description

Thank you for taking a look at my 1964 Chevy Nova. Little bit about the car, it started its life as a 400 series Chevy II Nova and has retained all of its trim, which is in great shape and straight. It is 100% turn key and has a clean/clear title in hand. It is one of three Nova's that I have and unfortunately am looking to clear up some space in the garage. It has spent a lot of its life as a race car, with a solid recipe to run fast, not only consistently, but reliably and with cost in mind as well. It can be driven around town locally, cruise down the highway without having any issues, or driven to the track to click off a few passes. Will pass a tech inspection with flying colors so all you have to do is show up. It has been set up very well and in order to try and give you a better understanding, I will break it down in detail below.
Engine a fresh 327 small block, camel hump heads, aluminum high rise intake, holley double pumper carb, and fenderwell headers. Solid cam, roller rockers, deep sump oil pan, HEI ignition, Crane HI-6 box, and overflow catch can approved for racing. It has a two speed electric fan, although the car runs cool on even the hottest of summer days. New alternator was just installed and all fluids were just flushed. Car has 65psi of oil pressure at idle, starts instantly regardless of the temperature, and settles into a raspy little idle.
TransFresh TH350 trans, full manual/reverse valve body, B&M shifter, 8-inch ATI Treemaster torque convertor, oil cooler, trans brake installed but solenoid has never been wired up (has never been used with this trans), and also has line lock.
Chassis & RearThe car just had an alignment done. Weld in frame connectors with a driveshaft loop. 10 PT cage w/ dash bar. Dana 60 with a spool - 5.13 gears. Weld Centerlines (15 inch) Rear Phoenix slicks 29.5x10.5 - 15. Front Mickey Thompson 26x7.5-15. I also have a new in the boxes disc brake conversion kit that I will include with the sale (not installed unless negotiated otherwise). Mini tub has been added to the max width without altering the stock rear frame rails. Battery relocated to trunk w/disconnect. Fuel cell in trunk with an electric fuel pump in the back as well.
Body & InteriorRecent respray that looks very nice; all trim is in great shape. The whole car has Lexan windows. Fiberglass doors, trunk lid, hood scoop, and front bumper. New interior carpet. Mostly all of the interior trim is new as well. Basic fixed back seats with 5 PT harnesses. (I also have an additional set of bolstered seats that have harness provisions I can include with the sale if interested). Autometer gauges have been added to monitor the essentials: oil pressure, temperature, fuel pressure, tach with programmable shift light. Original ignition key has been bypassed and wired to run from an ARC 3701 Pro Stock switch panel that is mounted on the roof of the roll cage. It controls the ignition, dual fuel pumps, fan speeds, lights, and nitrous controls (not set up and have never run this car on nitrous). I really liked how clean and simple it makes the car, especially if you want to race the car.
I'm sure that I may have missed a few details so please feel free to ask me any questions that you have and I will do my best to respond ASAP. I also listed the milage as 123,456 because the title states that it is milage exempt, therefore it could be 32,000 or 132,000 and I do not have an honest answer. I could only speculate on what I believe to be the milage, which I would say is accurate as the car spent most of its life as a race car and has no rust issues. It has none of the typical bottom rocker or fender rust, therefore I can only give you my honest opinion as the car is clean. I also have a trailer so could possibly help out with delivery, if that is something to help get you over your decision on bidding. The car is located in Stamford, CT but goes back and forth between my home in West Chester, PA as well. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
