Car description

You are looking at a 1968 Camaro. This car started its life out as a 6 cylinder. Someone put a lot of time and money on this car. It's not a show car it's a driver...if you painted this car it could be a show car. Ihave a video walk around of her running .I also have a video of the undercarriage. I can text anyone interested. I am also willing to show you the car before you bid or answer any questions you have...The car is located in Wolcott Ct 06716. Call or text me. 203-592-2478
The interior is in great condition look at the pictures! Headliner, seats, door panels and rugs are all in nice condition! The odometer reads 58,831 however I do not know how many milers are on the car or engine. There is no radio and one of the heater levers is broken...you can manually move the cable as you can see through the radio hole. The glove box lock is lose...The horn doesn't work as the button in tge steering wheel is just loose in the wheel? The windshield wipers do not work and a hood will have to be notched as it looks like if they did work they would slightly rib the hood...some issues expected for a 49 year old car...overall the interior is very nice!
The 350 v8 engine starts right up and holds a idle nice! She sounds great thanks to the headers and flow master dual exhaust! The clutch is good with no slippage, the transmission shifts smooth through all the gears however down shifting into second gear I get a slight grind...not sure if it's just a linkage adjustment or if a synchro is weak? Only downshifting into second gear...no other gear...other wise the Transmission is great! I noticed when I had on a lift that the transmission looks newer as does the linkage...might just need an adjustment?
The brakes are awesome! Four wheel disc conversion recently done! This thing stops line a modern car! The rotors are slotted/cross drilled and the calipers are red they look great through the aluminum rims that are in the car.
The paint looks good from a distance but when you get close up you start too see the flaws...the main flaws are on the left b pillar and the strip on trunk along the back window (I took pictures up close of those flaws look at pictures) Those are the worst spots I think a good wet sand would make the paint look a lot better...look at the pictures...you can drive it like it is to Cruz nights or paint it and bring it to shows! The hood and front fenders are all fiberglass! There are no hood springs I use a prop rod to keep hood open. It opens and closes great! The last owner removed the front bumper and the fenders are glassed into the front...look at the pictures it has a great look! The Quarter panels have been replaced at some point..again if you painted this car you would have a show car...I'm just trying to describe as honest as I can...it's totally drivable how it sits...have me send you the video you will see what I mean...
The undercarriage is in great condition. The only repait I found is on the drivers floor...there is a patch (see pictures) . The rest is nice and solid! There are ladder bars, frame connectors and all new brake hardware...I think the undercarriage is one of the nicest ones I've seen in a long time! Look at the pictures...I also have a video I can text you.
Overall this is a great driver that turns heads just how it sits! Buyer will not be disappointed!

I Just showed The Vehicle To Someone Who Brought It To My Attention That The Quarter Panels Are Also Fiberglass. I Guessing The Last Owner Was Making The Car As Light As PossibleAs The Hood, Fenders And Lower Valance Are Also Fiberglass.
