Car description

Thank you for looking at my auction.

Up for auction is this 1955 Chevy 3100 with a 454 V8 400 automatic and updated suspension and chassis.

The interior features Classic Instrument gauges, a 32-inch Lokar shifter, leather bucket seats, painted in tan and rootbeer brown. American Autowire from front to back.

Under the hood features a big block Chevy motor that has new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, new fuel pump, water pump, alternator, starter, belts, battery, rebuilt carburetor topped with a Rocket air cleaner. The engine was disassembled and a rebuilt kit installed with new cam shaft and lifters, timing chain and gears.

The frame was updated with a '78 Suburban with new shocks, front and back, new gas lines, new brake lines, calipers, rotors, brake pads, brake shoes, wheel cylinders, new steel rims painted matching rootbeer brown with whitewall Coker tires and hubcaps. New exhaust with Flowmasters and chrome tips.

The box floor bed is a custom 3/8 steel with cool artwork. Custom fuel tank made out of Ziegler/Beaver Dam beer barrel which holds 23 gallons.

The exterior features some old patina, some new patina, some old-school lace, and some old original green paint topped with flat mat clear coat.

This truck has only been on the road for two weeks and has been to three car shows and has won two awards (one show was for enjoyment only and did not give out awards).

If you walk by this truck at a car show and don't stop, some would think that it is just a rusty turd. But once you stop and take a closer look at all the small details from the pinstriping, the lace, the custom gas tank and bed floor, shifter and steering wheel, and the matching painted engine topped with a Rocket air cleaner all the way down to the original Cameo truck trim, they walk away saying, "This is one cool truck!"

We love the man in black (a.k.a. Folsum Prison) and his last vacation to Waverly Hills.

Immediate $500 deposit within 24 hours of end of auction. Balance paid in full within 7 days and picked up unless other arrangements have been made. Truck is being sold AS IS with no warranty.
