Car description

I built this 1986 3/4 ton Chevy Suburban about 4 1/2 years ago. and has never been "Muddin". It was a 2WD when I bought it. I found a 4x4 frame. built it and swapped the body. I put in a full 3 inch Rough Country lift kit. 4. 88 gears (front 10 bolt and rear Corporate 9 1/2"). nbsp; near new 37 X 1250 X 16. 5 military tires (with 1/2"+ tread. no cracks etc. ). nbsp; new U-joints. axle joints and MOOG ball joints. new lockouts. all new brakes including rotors. calipers. wheel cylinders hoses. pads and shoes (the brakes WILL lock up the tires. It has Hydroboost). nbsp; a new 1100 rpm stall torque converter from Carolina Converters & new 700r4 transmission with a 7 disc 3-4 clutch pack. Reverse bell. 11 vane pump. Corvette servo. case saver. (thats all I can remember). I paid a shop to put on a 3" single exhaust about 1500 miles ago I supplied a big stainless muffler and the Y joint. I also installed a new injection pump 1200 miles ago (outside in the dead of Minnesota winter). The engine is a non-emission J code 6. 2 diesel with ported intake. I put on a DIY road draft tube because the EGR went bad. The engine and tie rod ends are the only untouched original drive train components and they has about 150k-170k miles on it. The 241 transfer case I bought used so I have no idea how many miles are on it but it works great. The T-Case does not hook up to speedo because it has a wire type sensor. Since I built this. I have put about 20K miles on it. It has a class 3 hitch bolted and welded on. It has self limiting Glowplugs and a manual circuit. The connections on the GPs need cleaning. not all get warm. I was told the truck was from Texas originally. The lower quarter panels have rust. the rockers are solid up front. but starting to go under the rear side doors and rear Barn doors. The stereo is nothing special. but it has SD card slot and USB port. It is a Walmart cheapy. I put in a flawless OE dash and put a new cover on it also at the time. It gets about 12 -15MPG. I moved to Missouri from Minnesota. and I drove it down here last spring and I had no trouble at all. It has sat since and needs a good cleaning inside and out. Misc FYIs - The transmission has started dripping since I moved here (not badly). - I would bet there is a chip or two in the windshield. but not cracked. - It generally doesn't wander on the road and goes pretty straight. - The DS long rear window seal needs TLC. but is not rusty. See pic. - The blinker switch I replaced . but didn't get wired yet. - The floors are solid! This wouldn't be a bad truck to restore. - It has 1 battery and is new. There is a spot for 2. - It does not shimmy. hop or pull. There is nothing "wrong with it" or it doesn't "need anything" - I have a few new parts that go with it. - It currently seats 2 people. The back has a welded in frame shelf setup for camping with storage underneath. but could come out easily with a grinder. If you are interested. I suggest you come look at it if you think you need to. It has not been driven. meaning this ad is by memory. I will add more pics soon. I will send pics of requested areas. I will be honest about everything. I want you to be an informed happy buyer. No matter what this sells for. I'm loosing my A** but I have accepted that and It's time for it to go. Happy biddingI have it for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction early.
