[isdntekvideo] . We shot these photos on a hot day - and the vintage air conditioning system worked GREAT ! It was nice and chilly inside, and it can be driven on a hot day with the windows up! . Gleaming chrome - and note the aluminum radiator and A/C condensor peeking out, as well as the highly finished inner sheetmetal. . The color is super lively, and the metallic and pearl really highlight the body lines. . The stance is perfect, and the wheel and tire combination fit just right. . More gorgeous paint! look at the reflections, it's awesome! . Here it was in the spray booth when it was built! . And on the new frame at D&P Chevrolet. . The new frame . The new frame with the bed being fitted up to it. . The GM Performance Factory Crate engine LS-1 was purchased new for this build. No junkyard parts here, this was new when it was built! I like how they put the Chevrolet Emblem on the engine cover too! . Extremely clean engine bay. Note the smooth firewall, its beautiful under the hood! . Here's the climate control side, where we see the A/C compressor, a modern rotary unit, and the nice firewall bulkhead for the A/C and heater hoses. . Here is a photo of the new LS-1 Engine when it was installed on the frame. The LS-1 is quite a marvel - 5.7 liters, 345 cubic inches, Aluminum cylinder heads and block, Sequential Fuel Injection, 10:1 compression ratio, and Hydraulic roller lifters. It puts out 340 horsepower and 350 Foot Pounds of torque. All of the accessories are direct-mount, and they run on a single serpentine belt. . Glass smooth and super sharp, even on the underside of the hood! Wow! . Beatiful interior! note the smooth dashboard! . It's a split bucket seat, with console and power mechanism for the driver and manual for the passenger. . Gorgeous! and comfortable! . Beautiful leather wrapped Billet Steering wheel. . Here's the dash when it was being smoothed and readied for paint . And part of the build process of the interior. You'll note those are the seats prior to being trimmed in tan suede . . Excellent Auto-Meter gauges. 6,938 is the mileage since the truck was done to the time of the photo shoot. . Yes all of the instruments work ! . Aircraft style consoles and courtesy lamps! Note the headliner matches the seats. and the high quality paint on the inside metal! . There's the A/C and heater control in the center lower dash, the remote controlled radio, and the high end speakers in the kickpanel. Another nice feature if you look close is the stainless braided wire conduit from the doorjamb to the door for the power window wires. . Nice detail on the doorpanels. Note the power window switch, the windows work great. . The maplewood bed is highly finished and absolutely beautiful. . Here's the raw maplewood before being trimmed, fit, and polished! . . Wow! Also note how nicely the inner sheetmetal is finished. When I'm looking at a pickup, that's the first thing I want to see - it's an indicator of the quality of the restoration work. . Beautifully finished cover, with gas struts that work! . Beautiful Intro Billet Wheels with 255/17's in the back, and 235/17's in the front. . Bowtie Tailight just below the rear window! .
