Car description

This is a One Owner Chevrolet Scottsdale K20 3/4 Ton 4x4 Pickup truck. It has had very little use during the past 10 years. The body is in great shape. These pictures included was just after I washed the dust off. I have not waxed or Armour Alled anything so you can see exactly what it is. The engine is the GM Small Block 400 and it has never been opened up. It runs fine. The carburetor could use a rebuild because it takes a few pumps to get fuel going. During the 80's when we were having all the smog regulations running amok, headers were installed to remove the smog fittings. Other than that, there have been no modifications. The axles are 3/4 ton Dana 44 front with Selectro Locking Hubs. We have the original 6-Bolt flanges in the box from when it was converted from Full-Time to Part-Time 4WD. The rear is the 10.5" 14 Bolt GM Corporate Full Floating with 4.10 gearing. The suspension on front is the old style heavy duty add-a-leafs which make the ride pretty choppy. I would replace the front springs with more modern better riding replacements and slap on a new set of shocks for good measure. The inside of the cab is box stock except the seat has been recovered in vinyl and that is the first thing I would redo. Everything inside works fine except the speedometer which shows 56,000 miles and the transmission indicator needle is not showing. Original AM/FM radio works great and the AC is ice cold. The transfer case shifter works smoothly. It has the original green dash with no cracks, original green seat belts. The door panels are faded and need cleaning up real bad. The hand crank windows work just fine. The truck bed has the typical wear from being a daily driver around town and the farm. The gooseneck hitch was installed at the dealer when bought new, along with the gooseneck drop-V tailgate. The original tailgate has been in the box the V-Tailgate was delivered in and is in awesome shape.
This truck needs some TLC because it has been hardly used for about ten years. Here is a list of things I would fix right off:Wiper Blades look originalSealed Beam Headlights look original.Chrome trim retaining strip for the windshield has turned yellow over time.It has a small oil leak, probably from the oil pan, that needs addressing.I'd replace the front springs and shocks.Window wipers on the outside of the doors need replacing because they are dried out.Lots of little things that you would typically need to replace or rework on a vehicle of this era.
Here is a video walk around of the exterior.

I'll try to get interior pics and maybe a interior video up soon.
I had known the owner of this truck for many years before he died. I am selling this for his widow. I make no guarantees on anything but will be glad to answer all questions so you can make your buying decisions accordingly.

This is for sale locally, so auction may close at any time. I really enjoy driving this truck to town. It gets lots of looks and runs down the road nicely.
