Car description

1967 Chevrolet Impala 4 door Hardtop no post, 3-speed 327, all original and factory.
It's time to let go of the 67 Impala, it's been in the family 34 years. My grandfather bought it from the original owner in Ferndale, Washington, also where it was originally bought new in 1967. The car has been in Washington State for most of it's life, treated well, never wrecked. My father brought it to Toronto, Canada, where it is now, though it has not been driven in winter or much at all since being there. It has been stored for the last few years and has not been driven much since 2005.
Mileage: 150,000. The engine was rebuilt 50,000 miles ago. The engine ran a couple years ago but will need tuning up to be drivable, it will need to be trailered. Probably needs a carb rebuild. This is the original 327 engine and 3 speed 400 transmission (the 400 trans was used instead of the 350 in the late 1967 models).
It has the factory larger valve heads on it, like on the corvettes, the biggest valves available on the 327. The heads were redone 25,000 miles ago, with new valve guides and seats also.
It needs straps for the gas tank as they are about rusted through. The floor of the trunk is solid though.
The body is straight and strong and is nearly cancer free, just a bit on the bottom corner of the rear wheel well, and some behind the front wheel well, with some light surface rust overall. It is the original paint. The only dent is a small stretch dent above the passenger rear wheel well. All trim pieces and chrome are intact, and bumpers are undented.
The glass was all intact (for 50 years!) until just just a few months ago when unfortunately a tree fell over and poked a hole in the rear glass window. So that will need to be replaced (happened after the pictures), the trim is just slightly dented, but no body damage thankfully.
The interior is worn but in pretty decent shape. Upholsteryis fair, the back seat is it good shape, front is worn and a bit ripped from use. Some surface rust appearing on the dash, but otherwise good condition, all the knobs and buttons work.Tilt steering wheel.
Comes with the original owners manual, and also has the original jack, floor mats, door bumper guards, and all 4 hubcaps plus one extra.
We are trying to locate the title in our paperwork files. It's last registration was in 1999, in Washington State.
These pictures were taken 2 years ago but it has been covered with a tarp and appears the same today. I am working on getting more current and detailed photos, and should hopefully have those soon.
Email me with questions to the address in the 3rd picture. For the Supernatural Baby Metallicar fans, this is the car, all except the factory A/C, which it does not have. Close enough, this classic is a gem and there aren't too many originals left in this condition. Don't let this one get away!
