Car description

I have for auction a 1976 Chevy Corvette Stingray. Its a number matching T-Top car, 350 V-8 4bbl car that utrns lots of heads! The gentleman I bought it from had it for the last 3 years and drove it frequently. He paid $7300.00 for the car when he first bought it. He was selling it to buy a truck and was very hesitant to get rid of her but did anyway. From what I have been told it was a North Carolina car. Ive been driving it around for the last couple weeks, and it's surprising pretty fast! In my opinion this is a great first Corvette that won't break the bank, but still needs things hear and there to be 100% or get in it and drive it. Here is what I know.
THE GOOD:
-Fairly new paint job that looks really good, it does have chips hear and there but its the original color white.
-Rally Rims and almost brand new tires.
-Runs drives and shifts fine.
-Headlights are slow but they fold up and down, I have all new vacuum lines that go with it, that I will throw in the deal.
-I have the original air cleaner
-Dual exhaust sounds good not to loud.
-Fairly new 4bbl Carburetor.
-Minimal rust underneath.
THINGS IT NEEDS:
-When I first bought the car the teeth on the flex plate/fly wheel were bad. I have sense had it replaced, and it cost me about $370.00. For however long the guy had the problem, he kept starting it with the starter grinding on the fly wheel. Seems like the starter is a little loud now. still starts fine but I think the starter needs to be replaced. Easy Fix.
-When I picked up the car after the flywheel was fixed I noticed the front windshield was now cracked. I do not know what happened there.
-Ball joints need to be replaced, could use a front end alignment.
-U joints in the back need to be replaced, (Its Clunky)
-A/C not working
-T-Tops look good but if you get a monster storm, yes like all T-Tops they will leek.
-I give the interior about a C, as you can see in the pictures there are cracks here and there.
-Radio only works in AM mode and the speakers are crappy, probably original.
-All the gauges work except the clock.
So like I said, it does need some attention here and there but this is all because its a 1976. Its a nice car over all that wont need much if you like to tinker. My reserve is fair and I am auctioning off the car AS IS.....
Thank you hit me up with any questions.
