Car description

I bought this Blazer last year with visions of me driving it around town with my wife and kids blasting Van Halen and reliving 1987... Didn't happen. It spent the first six months of ownership in a paint shop getting redone and when it was finished I never had time to drive it. I bet I haven't put 200 miles on it since I bought and have yet to crank up Panama at full volume.
The Blazer is the classic K5 body style and is in very good condition. I am uber picky on all my cars so I will proceed to tear this truck apart for you because I don't want you to be disappointedwith your purchase.
The good:Fresh paint in the original factory colors. Painted in door jams so everything looks fresh.Fresh rubber around doors and windows. All electrical works... windows, locks, etc. Front windows are slow but they were when it was new. But they do work.Interior is 8 out of 10. Clean and no bad smells.Brand new BFG tires. Because they looked like that in 1987.
The bad:Passenger side hard top window is cracked in multiple places. The paint shop broke the window and stole my money I gave them to buy a new window. You can't see it if you are looking into the truck but you notice it when looking out. Window is still in there and complete but it is cracked. Some of the body filler around the doors is cracking. I tried to get good pics but it doesn't show up unless on top of it.Wheels need to be cleaned to get some spots off. No curb rash but they have stains.Interior has some stains on the seats. Nothing major that you can't see in the pictures.Interior is missing a few small trim pieces such as trim around door pulls and interior light cover.
I put that it has the 305ci in it but I'm not sure. It's a V8 Chevy small block... they all look alike to me. It runs and doesn't smoke.
Other than that the truck is great. It is old enough to vote and get cheaper insurance so it's not perfect but it is a great start for a full resto or perfect for a summer driver that you can enjoy now. Let me know if you have any questions.
And once the auction starts I'm going to let it run its course unless someone hits me with a crazy number, and I doubt that will happen, so bid to buy it.Thomas
