1967 CAMARO CONVERTIBLE BARNFIND RARE BLUE EXTERIOR BLUE INTERIOR BLUE CONVERTIBLE TOP
This 1967 Camaro convertible was a street machine in the 1970`s. This car was stored in a barn since 1978 and was just pulled out last week. While this car needs a total restoration it is a solid 1967 Camaro. It will need the typical floor pans and trunk pan work, the passenger floor pans may be able to be saved if you want ( see the pictures). The rear frame rails are solid with some surface rust, look closely at the pictures. The shock towers are very nice. The car has a V-8 engine, it is a camaro coded 327 4 barrel engine, I have not tried to start it. Originally the car was a 6 cylinder with manual transmission. It has an automatic in it now. At some point the front clip was replaced with one from a 1968, fenders have some rust and body filler. Seats are nice solid cores for rebuilding. The top moves up and down, It was in the barn with the top up for the last 40 years, the top material is obviously mostly gone. All the glass is intact and in good shape, the side windows rol up and down. The door open and shut good, when you pull up and down on the doors the whole car moves showing that is is solid. The car sits level, when you open both doors there is no sag in the car. This car is a nice starting point for a restoration. It needs a full restoration but is a solid foundation. According to some research we did, the blue on blue on blue is very rare. Chevrolet did not install blue tops at the factory. They had an outside vendor install blue tops, this being the case the top frame was on the car when it was painted and the frame got painted blue as well as the body, this car has that.
Vin tag and cowl tag have never been tampered with.New York is a non-title state for cars 1972 and older, the registration card is transferable to the new owner. This comes with a transferable NYS registration and bill of sale, no issues with registering this car.
