Car description

This 1992 Camaro RS is a one-family owned, well maintained, reliable great car. The Camaro was built in GM's Van Nuys, CA plant, and delivered to Macpherson Chevrolet in Irvine, CA where my aunt purchased it new in 1992. It remained in the family having been sold to my dad, and then me. I moved to Virginia in 2015, and brought the Camaro with me. This car is very reliable and was my daily driver (except during winter as I didn't want the salt and snow to rust the undercarriage) until recently. It has been kept garaged its whole life. I have the original window sticker, and maintenance information going back to 2005. Overall it is a reliable car that runs well and is a great starting point if you want to do a restoration, custom car, drag car, or if you just want a car that would be easy to polish up and take to car shows. This car turns heads everywhere it goes. I would like to keep it, but I don't have as much time to enjoy it as I used to, and want it to go to someone who will have the time to polish it up and show it off.
Recent maintenance include: oil change, front brake pads and rotors, all new BF Goodrich radial tires, wheel bearings, and suspension ball joints at 108507 miles.
Interior:Original cloth seats have some wear. The front seats are covered with custom CoverKing ballistic nylon seat covers. The front floor mats are WeatherTec mats, they are universal fit so they do not look original. The back seat mats are reproduction original. Included is the cargo cover for the trunk which was an option that this car didn't originally come with. The hardware to install it is included, I just never got around to doing it. The rear trunk lid pull down is damaged, it will open but you have to pull up on the lid to keep it from automatically closing again. A second trunk lid pull down is included and there are several vendors that will rebuild it for you, Again, I just didn't get around to doing it.
Drivetrain:Original motor. Rear differential and transmission serviced at 102779 miles. Spark plugs and wires replaced at 102698. Runs well, but does leak a small amount of oil, probably from rear main seal. Exhaust system was replaced in 2014 with a DynoMax Ultra Flo catback system which sounds great.
As with any vehicle this age, this Camaro does have a few minor flaws. The paint is a respray of the original color done in the early 2000's. While the vast majority of it looks great at 10 feet, it does have scratches, pitting, and wear. The front lower bumper, and the rear bumper need a complete respray. It leaks oil, and as time goes on more of the plastic and rubber components in the engine compartment will probably need to be replaced from years of wear. The gas gauge is slightly off, but functional. The plastic cap on the gearshift is cracked.
I have many more pictures and video of the car running, email me if interested. Vehicle is for sale locally and auction may end early if sold. Car is sold as-is, buyer responsible for shipping.
