1968 Chevy El Camino Roller No Reserve! Drag? Resto Mod? Chevelle Front / Disc

1968 Chevy El Camino /  Chevelle . it has been sitting for years. It is a rolling chassis that was going to be set up as a race car.  It does NOT have an engine. and before you ask. wait for it. wait for it. IT DOES NOT RUN!  I have no idea about history or if any parts are missing.  I deal with Mercedes.  This is sold on a bill of sale only. We do not have a title.  You can apply for a lost title.  It was supposed to be re-engined.  It has been sitting since then.  We have no paperwork.  The body seems to be all there. but there may be parts missing.   I am happy to take any pictures you need. or answer any questions. but please know I am not an expert in El Camino / Chevelle. The interior is missing and the only rust I can see is surface rust.  We have stored this car for 5 plus years and need to make space.  We bought it years ago and have never gotten around to restoring it.  It seems as the front fenders have already been primered.  It also has the super rare front disc brakes. No Reserve! VIN: 134808K195389 Location – The VIN number is located on driver’s side right below the where upper door hinge mounts to the body. It should be on a stamped steel pad and is composed of 13 numbers and letters. A sample 1968 El Camino VIN would look like this: 138808A100001 1st digit – This is the manufacturers identity number  1 = Chevrolet 2nd and 3rd digits - This is the Model Series 33 = El Camino L6 34 = El Camino V8 35 = Custom El Camino L6 36 = Custom El Camino V8 38 = El Camino SS 396 (*1968 only) 4th and 5th digits - This is the Body Style 80 = 2dr Sedan Pick-up  6th digit - This is the last digit of the model year 8 = 1968 7th digit - This is the Assembly Plant code  A = Atlanta/Lakewood. GA B = Baltimore. MD G = Framingham. MA K = Kansas City/ Leeds. MO Z = Fremont. CA 8th through 13th digits – Sequential Production Number 100001 – Sequential Production Number
