Car description

This is a car I found in a field in Indy back in 2013. Was last used as a race car and then dumped in a field. Car was driven by Marlin Snyder I think from 1965-1969 running H/S stock class. He won the NHRA National Championship at Indy in 1965 (as seen on the car/original hand painting). I do have a National Dragster magazine listing Snyder driving this car. I spoke to him and he confirmed it was his car at one time. I don't know about any other owners. I towed it home from Indy and have been working on it since then in between work. I'm selling because I just bought a Mopar and need room in my garage. The NHRA museum asked that it be brought to Pomona for display during their meets.

Car came with no engine, I put a used 350 in it (car starts), I do not know the accurate mileage.

Engine: used 350
Turbo 350 trans
NO driveline
New stock brakes
New shocks all around
New front leaf springs
New fuel cell (mounted in trunk)
New electronic ignition
All new wiring harness
New radiator
New electric fan
New master cylinder
New brake lines
New battery
New headers
No door keys
New gas pedals
New shifter
Driver and passenger windows work
Original glass all around except drive door (plexi)

Floor boards are rusty, I did some repair but will need more
Trunk has some rust
Body, doors and fenders have little or no rust as all

NOTE: Owner wants to be clear that this car was used as a race car for a few years in the 60's, then basically put out to pasture. Interior has no headliner, no rear seat, front seats are from another car, the dash is original. The previous owners did some repair work to the floor boards. The owner has vision problems now and is difficult for him to give very detailed answers about the car other than what is being posted here, but just wants people to be sure they know what they are getting. To be a street viable car once again it will need work. He installed the news items as listed about to best of his ability, but feel free to call to ask any questions. He is trying to be as honest as possible so buyer will be happy with their purchase. For people out of state he recommends National Transportation which he has used many times.
