Hi, you are viewing a Really Nice 1989 Chevrolet Stepside 4X4 Shortbed Pickup. This truck is Completely RUST-FREE (and no bubbles or rust spots, Really ! I know a lot of sellers tend to bend the truth about that).) This is not the typical Bondo-Filled older 4X4 like most of them out there. The Underbody, Floorpans and Bed are also super solid. The inside bed has been protected with a bed protecting spray. It would be very hard to find another 4X4 of this generation with the solid metal like this one. The interior is very original and also is in excellent condition (no dash cracks, seat tears,etc...). All of the Gauges work and so does the factory Stereo and Equalizer. The A.C. blows nice and Cold (but only out of the lower areas, but it still cools down the inside very nicely,even here in Florida, probably has some type of upper stuck vent door or something). This truck only has 121,700 original miles on it and is mechanically excellent. It runs and drives Great . A lot of these 350 Fuel Injected V8 Chevy/GMC trucks run easily over 300,000 miles (I know of 2 of them that friends have). The engine runs really well and has no funny smoking, etc.. ever. This truck is actually better on gas than I would have thought too, its not bad at all. The steering, shifting, brakes, etc.. all perform excellent. The Suspension is also surprisingly nice, it actually takes hard bumps like rough railroad tracks better than my cars do. The ride is like a very controlled bounce, very nice actually. The 4 Wheel Drive also works great. I haven't taken it off road, but I am sure it is quite capable ! This truck also sounds like a Muscle Car with a Very Nice Sounding Dual-Exhaust System. The only thing this truck needs is a new set of tires. The current tires (Super-Swamper 38s) could use rebalancing. There is some shaking around 35 or 40 mph and the tires have some cracking in the sidewalls. I didn't rebalance the tires yet because I was going to buy new ones. With new tires this truck would be Absolutely Fantastic Cosmetically and Mechanically. This truck gets a LOT of Attention Everywhere you take it, Endless Comments and Thumbs-Ups !! I think it gets more attention than my muscle cars. People really love these older Lifted 4X4s.
