Car description

1962 C10 Stepside Short Box with a matching #'s 1969 CORVETTE HY BLOCK 350 and M21 Muncie close ratio 4 speed. HURST Shifter. It is an HY (350 hump head, 4bbl, manual 4 speed 300 horse engine)That has been bored .050 over with mild cam and timing gear driven. Has electronic mallory ignition.Holley Street Dominator intake manifold with Holley 4 bbl carb.A great deal was spent on the engine alone! The motor runs super strong and sounds awesome!! Starts instantly every time! The 4 speed transmission is case # 3925660 again from a 1969 corvette. It is an M21 close ratio 4 speed manual transmission. The exhaust is a dual FlowMaster with 3 inch pipes from a set of headers. Sounds loud and obnoxious. Just the way it should be.The rear end gears are 411'sPaint is a semi black with red interior and red Bucket seats. It is an awesome truck and fun to drive. This is an excellent condition driver. It is NOT fully restored show room condition. However it is one of the nicer drivers out there. It turns heads and gets the thumbs up everywhere I go.I have done a great deal of work to get it to this point. The following have just been replaced:Head light switchWiper motorWiper arms/ bladesCowl sealRear drumsRear wheel cylindersRear shoesRear brake lineFront brake hosesClutch master cylinderRebuilt brake master cylinderClutch slave cylinderSpeedometer cableTurn signal switchRag joint (steering)Shifter bootPlug Wire seperatorsRe-wired allAll lights and turn signals work as they should. I re-wired the truck andEverything works : headlights, tail lights, turn signals, 4 ways, stop lights, and horn. All function properly. I replaced the turn signal switch. I just replaced the windshield wiper motor and wipers. They function as they should. All brakes function as they should and the rear lines, drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, are new. Front has new brake hoses. I replaced the clutch master cylinder and the clutch slave cylinder. I rebuilt the brake master cylinder. I replaced the steering rag joint. This C10 runs very strong and stops very well. A great deal of time has been spent to get it to this point. It is a nice solid truck that is very drivable.
I have the windshield seal that needs to be replaced. Window fuzzies for both sides. E brake cables and hardware. It does need body work at front lower fenders, door corners, rear fenders. The older body work is just starting to bubble as shown in pictures. Very minor for a 54 year old truck. The interior needs a carpet. The bed wood needs new wood. It is weathered. The frame, floors, rails, etc. are in excellent condition. This is a very solid C10 originally from Texas.Any questions just ask.Shipping and financing is the responsibility of the buyer.I apllied sevearal POW MIA badges in rememberence. The center wheel hubs have POW MIA applied. The valve stem covers are POW MIA. I also made a horn button cover with POW MIA. Also one small sticker on left rear bumper. All can be easily removed if you wish. This 1962 C10 is in excellent driver + condition. With a lot of time and money spent on what matters. It is not mint and the price reflects this.It will not take much to bring it to top show quality as it is a very solid survivor. It will be hard to find a 1962 Chevy C10 in this solid of condition. No reserve auction.
