Car description

Up for auction is a 1958 Bel Air 2 door original survivor car! Original black paint, traight six 235 cubic inch motor paired to a power-glide transmission. Engine currently turns over but just doesn't want to start, rustrating! Installed new/remanufactured carburetor and new coil, till doesn't want to fire off. Compression tests show 110-115 on 5 cylinders, nd 70 on the number 4 cylinder. Odometer reads 88k miles, ot sure if it's turned over. Interior is rough, ost floor pans including the trunk need repair/replacement due to rust. Missing driver's side window, omes with an extra windshield. Car is not currently registered but I do have the pink slip. Bought this as a project car and it's definitely a project! I decided to focus on jeeps and off-road adventures instead. I also have what I believe are the original rims and 2/4 hubcaps. Did I mention it's a 2 door survivor!? These are becoming quite rare, nd definitely valuable once restored! Keep it original and freshen up the interior and engine, r drop in a big block and fully restore! Aftermarket parts are readily available including complete floor pans, lass, nd interior. Gas tank is currently in the trunk disconnected, nd should probably be gone through before assembly. Trunk lid stays down but is missing latch and will need repair. Exterior rust is there as the pictures show, ey it's 57 years old! My intention as a seller is to be completely forthcoming and explain any requested details to the eventual buyer. 95% of all the trim is on the car as the pictures show, nd one piece is off and I believe in the trunk. The car comes with 4 decent shape 14" Cragar SS wheels which are currently on the car. Reserve price is definitely reasonable keeping in mind it is a project. The manual, rum brakes all around will need work, robably stuck wheel cylinders. The ignition switch is there along with the key, owever, t's currently hanging and not installed properly. Car has power assisted steering. Driveline is also removed and currently stored in the trunk. Car is located in beautiful Mt. Shasta, A 96067. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, r local pick-up. Initial $500 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of auction close. Total funds due 5-7 working days via bank wire transfer only. Good Luck!
