1968 Chevrolet C10 Custom

This stunning 1968 Chevrolet C10 step side pick up has just finished a complete frame off restoration into one unbelievable resto-mod. Starting with a completely rust free truck the body was removed from the frame where the chassis underwent several modifications. Four wheel Wilwood disc brakes were added and the steering was updated with a power rack and pinion set up. A stainless steel fuel tank was dropped in between the frame rails behind the rear axle. This replaces the original fuel tank that was behind the seat from the factory. New lowering springs were placed in the rear with drop spindles up front. All suspension bushing were replaced as well. The body of the truck is arrow straight with a perfect fit and finish. The deep black paint looks incredible with a high gloss finish showing off the excellent body, how quality with a superb fit and finish. All the chrome and stainless are new along with all the glass and weather stripping. Wood floor in bed and custom frenched tail lights in the fenders. The custom black leather interior is what really raises the bar on this truck. All molded black leather from the seats, oor panels, ick panels, eadliner, ehind the seat and even atop the dash. Complete inside of cab covered in black leather. A new ididit chrome tilt column was installed with a custom leather wrapped steering wheel. New AutoMeter gauges have been added along with Vintage Air Conditioning and a Kenwood sound system. This awesome truck is powered by a fuel injected Vortec 6.0L V8 producing 300hp and 360lb-ft of torque. The transmission is a 4L80E automatic overdrive and the truck retains it's original 12 bolt rear axle with 3.42 gears. All is kept cool with an oversized aluminum radiator and external transmission cooler. The drive train performs flawlessly and is super smooth, uns at highway speeds with ease. The truck also sits on a new set of 20" chrome Boss wheels and tires. This truck has been built with an open check book to be a show winner when parked and drive like a sports car on the road.
