Car description

For sale is a 1979 Chevy Silverado CK20 3/4 ton 4x4. This is a Camper Special with the extra shock absorbers in the bed which are bad at this point of their life. Cab lights work. It has an original 85,696 miles on it.It has the big block 400/400 trans. It has one dent aboutthe size of your little fingeron the top railof the bed.The interiorof the bed is in good shape with very few little dents. The paint is good. The wind shield has somewiper marks on it. The front seatneeds a little cleaning, ut it is in excellent shape with a firm cushion. The dash has a couple of cup holders thatthe owner had put on, o thereare small holes where they were installed, ut nocracks in the dash.It has an intermenttent windshield wiper. Duel 20 gal. gas tanks, oth work.It has a good push bar with a hitch on the front forplacing a trailer or launching a boat easier.Ithas an 8 track / radio, ut the speakers are bad, don't know if the 8 track works. The 400 transmission has been rebuilt about 4,000 miles ago. There are some leaksunderneath. It has a newChampion 4 core radiator, ut it was 3 inches to short, ut works well withno leaks with a 3in. shim at the top. It has air but it needs Freon. It has power brakes and power steering. The master cylinder is justnow starting to leak. The head liner and sun visors are in bad shape. It has a tilt wheel that is floppy and even though I drive it that way it needs to be repaired before it goes on the road with any one else. The tires need replacing. The carburetor looses it's prime over night and takes a few moments to get started, fter it starts, t's good the rest of the day. There are no electric leaks, have let this truck set for several months and the battery cranks at full power every time. All lights work. It has part time hubs. After the engine starts the first time of theday, t takes a few moments before you can feel all plugs firing. The drivers door has a brokenpin that helps keep the door open when swung out. The latch on the glove box is loose, ut it still locks if held right when shut. This is a smokefree environment truck. It had dual exhaust until I bought about 12 years ago but they had to put on a catylitic converter for the county I live in. I just had it smoged in late August so it's good for another22 months or so. I've listed every thing I can think of to give you some idea of what you are bidding on.As near as I can tell looking over this truck it has a great rust free body that has not been wrecked. I no longer have need of a pickup so I hope this will meet the needs of some one else rather than let it just set here in my yard. I'm starting the bid at $3,900 with no reserve. It will be up to the buyer to pick this truck up or arrange for shippingafter the winning bid. A $250.00 non refundable deposit is required.Buyeris responsable for all tax, ransferand license fees.Cashers check, r cash is preferred upon pick up of vehicle. I'll try to answer any question one may have. Thanks, uss
