1964 Chevy Chevelle Malibu 2 door hardtop.This beautiful car comes from the collection of a local client who is thinning down his collection. Featuring a smooth running, tock 283 engine with chrome dress up, it 4 barrel carb,& headers. Transmission is an automatic Powerglide. Power steering & power brakes make it easy to drive. Tires are new 225/45ZR18s on Boss wheels. Interior looks stock and has gauges added for engine monitoring. Lapbelts added for safety. Radio does not currently function, or the clock. Turn signal cancel cam is a bit finicky. The current owner bought the car from a well known dealer in the Pacific Northwest and was told that the car's prior owner disassembled it to change from the original blue color to the dazzling Evening Orchid hue now applied. The side chrome was professionally restored & polished at the time of repaint. While the result is a very sharp Malibu that you'd be proud to drive and show at cruise night, t is a 50 year old car and isn't perfect. The current owner planned an LS swap, ut just does not have the time right now, o he is passing it along to a new caretaker.
