Car description

This is an excellent vehicle that I have owned and pampered for the last 4 years. I am the third owner. This vehicle is titled as a GMC Caballero, removed the rear GMC badge and replaced it with the Chevy Shield and swapped the hood emblem for a Chevy as well. If you want, t is a 5 minute swap back to the way it was. The previous owner (ASE Mechanic) spent over $5,000.00 on the motor, xhaust and Turbo 350 transmission as well as another $1500.00 on the rear end. I have his documentation stating the work he did. Since I have owned it I also have over $5,000.00 with receipts in upgrading the vehicle. I completely refurbished the interior and upgraded the motor, ody, uspension, nd replaced the original wheels. I will try to list the majority of my work below. In addition to the vehicle, have all of the original parts that I replaced as well as several extras. This includes: 4 door panels; all 4 original rally wheels, hrome rings and the center caps; 2 new rear tires; several instrument gauges (tach, peedometer, il, ater, etc.); emblems (both caballero and el camino); instrument cluster, ultiple small parts; original headlight surrounds; valve covers; etc. I have replaced or installed the following on the car:Exterior4 New ION Alloy WheelsQuick Time electric exhaust cutoutsBillet GrillHeadlightsVinyl StripesTinted WindowsHellwig Rear Stabilizer bar4 new Coilsprings and Moog front ball joints4 new Gas ShocksNew Wilwood D154 Front Disc brake calipers and PadsNew Front Drilled/Slotted Rotors with new front wheel bearingsNew WeatherstrippingInteriorAll new carpetingNew bench seat upholsteryFull dash capNew instrument console with replacement speedometer and tachometer with clockCarbon Fiber look dash panelsJVC AM/FM USB Bluetooth Stereo Radio with new Jensen 4 way speaker boxes in rear and new infinity speakers in dashCustom cup holdersNew door panelsNew rear cargo curtainInstalled Fatmat sound deadning throughout entire floorWater temp and vacuum gaugesInnovate Wideband AFR GaugeThe A/C works great and blows super cool!Engine BayThe motor block is a GM 5.7 L05 TBI SGTG K308 produced Nov 30, 988 # 14093638 Cylinders original at 4.00"Cylinder Heads Pro Comp Aluminum 190cc, 4cc combustion chambers, .02 1.60 valve size hydraulic roller setupStainless Roller Rockers 1.5 ratio 3/8" studsNew GM Hydraulic Roller Lifters New CompCam PushrodsProcomp Chevy Typhoon Dual Plane intake manifoldHowards Hydraulic Roller Camshaft .500/.510 Lift .225/.231 Duration @.050" Lobe Separation 110 degreesEdelbrock 750 cfm carburetor (600 cfm in box for new owner if wanted)MSD Pro Billet DistributorMSD Blaster 2 Ignition CoilMSD Digital 6AL Ignition ControllerMSD 8.5mm Sparkplug WiresTuff Stuff Chrome 105amp Performance AlternatorNew Water PumpNew Double Roller Cloyes Timing Chain and CoverGoodyear Serpentine beltNew Chrome PulleysA/C Fan motorWindshield Washer and Coolant Overflow ReservoirsNew Valve CoversSpectre Cold Air Intake System with Cone Reusable FiltersFlex-a-lite Electric Dual Cooling Fan System (Will hand over original clutch fan and shroud)New Aluminum Radiator and HosesPolished Aluminum 350 Transmission Pan (replaced filter and serviced)New AC Delco Power Steering PumpNew Steering Linkage (replaced old rag joint system)Edelbrock Fuel PumpNew Stainless Fuel Line from Pump to CarburetorI am sure I have missed many additional items and like I mentioned I have all the receipts for the above items. I drove the car probably once a week and never raced or abused. This has been a hobby/challenge of mine since military retirement and I have loved every minute of it. But due to garage space and too many toys it is time for me to sell and move on to another project. My wife only allows one project at a time :( There is nothing needed on the car and will drive great for the new owner. It is tuned almost perfect (cuz it can never be perfect) with a low rumbling idle. The dual exhaust sounds great but for more growl just open up the electric cutouts a little bit and it roars. Engine has never been dyno'd but guessing around 420 hp. Lots of room to up that if wanted. Bottom-line it is a great cruiser with extra thump if needed. It has always been garaged, o rust, nd I believe I am the third owner. It was recently painted before I bought it and the truck bed is armor coated. All of the items and work was completed over the past 3 1/2 to 4 years of my ownership. The rear end 3.42 and TH350 Trans (with shift kit) were rebuilt right before I purchased it. If I think of anything I missed I'll revise the listing so check back often. I am not desperate to sell so NO lowball offers...let the auction ride. Email me with any specific questions and I'll answer the best I can. The mileage is estimated. It had about 68,000 when I purchased it and I added about 3,000.
