Car description

This is a very nice 1957 Chevy Nomad. I have had the car for about 2 years and bought it from the 2nd owner thatbought it since 1961. Its been garage kept its whole life. This car is really fun to drive. It is very reliable and rides very well. It has a fresh 327 Corvette engine, amel hump headswith 4 barrel carb. The engine is backed by a Bowtie Overdrives 700R4 trans and has a stock rear end with a 3.70 gear. The suspensionhas been completely upgraded with Classic Performance Parts tubular upper and lower a-arms, ropped spindles, wheel drilled and slotted disc brakes, heavy duty front and rear sway bars, PP hydo brake assist with duel master cylinder, nd CPP 500 power steering box. It has a huge CPP aluminum cross flow radiator with duel electric fansand never over heats. It has aMagna Flow 2 1/2" stainless steel exhaustsystem. It's rolls on vintage 15"American Torque thrust wheels with brand new tires. It has a new15" steering wheel and also come with the original one as well. The hood is louvered and has very rare hood bullet replacements that came from Finland. The person I got it from saidhe got these bullet replacements from his buddy inFinland and was told all 1957 Chevy cars that were built or imported toFinland had these hood bullet replacements because the transportation department didn't want anyone to be impaled by the hood bullets. I also have the original 283 engine that came in the car that is part of the deal. The body is all original sheet metal, hrome and stainless. The car underwent a restoration in the late 1970's and the paint has held up very well. The paint has some small chips but overall is very nice. The interior is very present able but has some wear spots on the carpet and the front seat. It has an original 1 piece front bumper and all the chrome and stainless are in great condition. There is absolutely no rust anywhere in the car. The only body repair ever made was to the top of thefin on the rear passenger side was replaced in the early 1970's because it was backed into in the local school parking lot. The car has current CA license and I have a clear title. This is a very nice riding, riving presentable car. Please feel free to ask any questions.
