Car description

Oh such a nice truck! Pleasant to drive, uiet and cool in the interior, tarts runs and drives awesome. This truck came out of an estate here in Lewiston Idaho, he original builder had obviously spent countless hours and dollars restoring the truck to use as a cruiser and also to pull his race car. He made great careful and informed decisions on both the vehicle to start with and also the components he picked out. He has Kept meticulase documentation of the build, ith receipts, ictures, preadsheets, anuals even very nice hand drawn wiring diagrams (you should see these, hey are really cool) and anything else that he felt may be of importance. With the easy running, owerful multi-port fuel injected small block and the burly 4L80E overdrive automatic, actory A/C and Cruise the truck is comfortable towing or just driving at highway speeds. This truck was not just slapped together for re-sale like you will find in other eBay auctions rather built to last the rest of his life (and unfortunately it did). After purchasing the truck it had been sitting for a long time, he vehicle has 3 fuel tanks, ut at this time only the tank in the cab is hooked up. I flushed it out and replaced the high pressure fuel pump. changed the plugs and wires, nstalled a new B&M shifter and new carpet, also cleaned up some wiring that I thought was just a little on the sloppy side. I replaced a couple of stuck injectors and the Idle air control valve (both victims of sitting for an extended period) also serviced the a/c system. The truck now starts and runs great! the folks at Edelbrock are absolutely amazing with their customer service. They really took the time to help me get this thing back up and running even though I was not the original purchaser! That's a stand out company there! I have just put a simple tune into the computer, ith the Edelbrock Pro-Flow II system is really fun to play with and can be tuned with either the included hand held programmer or a laptop (software disk it included) While I just spent the time to make it run good I am sure you could fine tune it to get some great economy out of it. Please don't be intimidated by the system just call the techs at Edelbrock if you chose to play with it (not that it is necessary I have it running really well) They will get you going and put it in terms anyone can understand. I am really impressed with this system. The 4L80E is a super nice touch, t is ran by a TCI controller that can be re-programmed if you chose, ight now I have it set up with just a little firmer than stock shifts, ut you can use the included software to change shift points and firmness to soot your wants. The body and paint are what I would call "Very Nice Driver Quality" no it is not a full on show quality paint job but it is really nice and there is no cancer coming threw the paint. the cab corners and rocker panes have no rot either which is common in these trucks, verall it is very nice. the window felts and rubbers are still nice and soft, o cracks in the glass. The doors open and close so nice! the windows go up and down without any binding. the interior does not rattle when driving. and the exhaust is very quiet until you really mash on it. There is a spray in bedliner, hat is just slightly faded but not bad and you can see evidence of a fifth wheel hitch in the bed. My camera phone pictures don't do the orange paint any justice, t really is a nice color but it looks a little off in the photo's (at least on my computer)The truck comes equipped with a hitch receiver as well as heavy power cable that he ran the winch on his trailer with. It is equipped with a 7 Way RV trailer plug as well as tow mirrors.I have included scans of his spreadsheets on the build that do not include the cost of when he upgraded the fuel injection from the Pro Flow I to the Pro Flow II and they do not include the wheels and tires he put on it (20" Alloy Wheels and Goodyear Eagle GT II's) you can figure he put another $4,000 into just those two items and he was already at $21,298 so he easily had $25-30K invested in the truck. Please feel free to get a hold of me with any questions and if you can stop by before the end of the auction to see it in person(my photography doesn't do it justice) Also if you would like to have it inspected BEFORE the end of the auction you can look up any shop in Lewiston Idaho or Clarkston Washington (border towns) and make an appointment I will get it to them for an inspection at your cost(you must pre-pay shop for inspection) I can be reached at 208-816-2297 Robert 7am-9pm pacific time zone.Shipping arrangements are up to the purchaser, have had good luck with the uship website, t will be coming from a commercial property in Lewiston Idaho 83501, 'm sorry I don't have time to get quotes for you. You can take up to 4 weeks to ship or pickup the truck and then I will start charging rent.....(I'm pretty easy to get along with but don't take advantage)
