1968 Chevelle Convertiible

1968 Chevy Chevelle Convertible. This car runs and drives but is a project. The engine is a little rough. It doesn't smoke but makes a popping sound at higher RPM's. Could be the timing but have not looked. The engine is a small block believed to be the original 307 but I never checked the numberS because my plans were to put a big block in it. The transmission is a 350 turbo. Shifts fine also. The exhaust is recent pair of flow master that come out the back over the axle. The rear end is the stock 10 bolt. It has drums brakes at all four corners. They stop fine. She was originall an AC car but most of it is gone. The vents inside appear to work fine, f you wanted to put AC in it later. All the lights work as they should, rake, ead lights, top lights, ash lights ect. The windows roll up and down. The top has no rips, ears, r holes. It's folds back and latches as it should. It is an electric top. However the pump is not working. It does come with another pump. The exterior is complete and in really good shape. The driver seat bottom is ripped but the rest of the seats are in really good condition. The dash pad is cracked in a few areas. To be expected I think. She looks decent for a day to day driver from about 10-15 feet. There are some bubbles from rust here and there. The floor has a few soft spots. I think patch panels would work, ut until you blast it all down you just never know. The trunk pan has dime size holes as the picture shoes. The front bumper is new, s is the SS hood and hinges. The doors could use new hinges as the doors are heavy and hinges do wear out. If I think of anything else I'll add it. I have a 69 coupe on a rotisserie right now, nd am getting close to paint. So I am in no hurry to sell this because she will be next. My kids love riding with the top down!
