Car description

You are bidding on a 1970 Chevy C10SWBFleetside pickup truck that has beenkeptin the same family since it was purchased new. From my understanding, t was passed from father to son in the early 80's and has been used primarily for father and son outdoor retreats. This truck is excellent for camping, unting andfishing, rwould make a great patina shop truck, r the growing trend of farm style sleeperrace trucks. However, f you want to build a show truck, his one will not require any more work than any other you wouldfind. If you are looking for a C10 pickup, ou are already aware of the potential and value of them and understand how difficult theSWB trucks are becoming to find. This truck is extremely solid and is a perfect candidate that provides a great platform to build around or drive as is. With the increasing popularity of the 67-72 C10 trucks, his is a great investment and the value is only going to increase.

Here is a brief description of the truck:

Exterior/Chassis:

This is an originalSWB pickup. The body of this truck has excellent patina andis straight, as never been wreckedand has very few dings...I think the lower front pocket of the passenger side is the only ding in the body.It does have the typical 67-72 C10 rust primarily concentrated in the rockers and door bottoms. The cab supports over to the inner rockers willneed to be replaced. Truck has the original medium green paint, ut the bottom of the truck was painted with a darker green. The truck comes with an aluminum camper shell that is almost flawless. Camper does not leak and has a wooden shelf built in that allows for storage, reeing up the bed floor foran air mattress or sleeping bags. All the windows roll out and the hatch has a lockable handle. The bed floor of the truck is in great shape (please note the pics) because it has been coveredmost of its life. With a good power washing, he chassis of the truck would clean up nicely. Truck also comes with a front sway bar, hich is a must in the curves with these trucks.Bumpers are straight with no dings.

Drive Train:

The engine is a 250 straight 6 with an automatic 350 turbo trans. The truck was originally a 3 on the tree, ut was converted to an automaticin order to make iteasier to pull a boat. The engine is currently not running. From what I was told, he truck was parked in 2005 due to the owner buying a new truck as a retirement present for himself. I cleaned the carb, ut have not had a chance to assess the engine. Nevertheless, hese old 6 cylinders are tough, nd the engine would probably not need much persuasion in order to run. I was told that you can totally rebuild one of these for under $300, r just drop in a big block if you are interested in building a sleeper truck or LS engine to use as a shop patina driver.

Interior:

The interior of this truck is pretty much all original. All the glass is in great shape with no cracks or hazing. The doors open and close great. The rear window slides open allowingfor access into the camper. The windows are a little difficult to role up and down right now, ut some lubricant should take care of the problem. The seat/foam is in great shape, ut the cover has a couple of holes. The driver's floor pan will at least need a partial patch.

I do my best to take pics that accurately display and represent the entire truck being sold....that way, ou don't travel hrs. only to find a vehicle that looks entirely different from the online pics. Please check out more detailed pics at:

Again, his truck is being sold as a project and will require some work in order to make it road ready and reliable. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the truck is for sale locally or due to an acceptable offer on the truck.

I would rather the buyer come pick the truck up in person...that way you can see that the truck isproperly advertised. However, know all to well how busy life can get at times soI can setup professional, ffordable and quick shipping service within the U.S. without hassle to the buyer, ut buyer is responsible for all shippingexpenses paid to driver once truck is delivered. Send me a zip code, nd I will give you an approximate shipping quote. Serious inquires only! A $500 Paypal deposit is due within 48 hrs. at end of auction with balance duewithin 10 days in cash, ire transfer, r cashier's check from bank(check will need to beverified and wire transfer complete before truck is released). If you can't abide by this policy, hen please do not bid. Also, f you have less than a 10 rating, lease contact me 1st or your bid will be canceled.Clean/clear title in my name with all matching VIN # platesfor hassle free transfer. Email, all (before 9 PM EST), r the best way to reach me is via text at 606-813-2045 ANYTIME. I will also work with you anyway I possibly can in order to make the transaction as smooth as possible. If you have any questions, lease do not hesitate to ask. Please ignore my current feedback rating of 96%...my wife sold a $10 article of children's clothing on here, nd the buyer claimed it had stains, nd it absolutely did not. I offered her a full refund, ut she left me negative feedback anyway. I have sold and purchased itemson ebay for 15 yr. and had never received negative feedback before...I guess I was due one? :)
